Summary:

Hunter Page-Lochard sines as an amoral Hair "passing" for human. And Game of Thrones' lain Glen deliciously leans into his Untrustworthy Media Mogul role. Unfortunately, Cleverman can't settle on a tone, weaving ham-handed political melodrama with a yet-more-ham-handed mystical chosen-one narrative. [3 Jun 2016, p.101]

Cleverman is really interesting especially it's lore and the way the antagonist is placed. And good enough almost every character is interesting and going through choices and changes that really shape them to who they become as the season further progresses. It's a very refreshing taste 9/10

Its interesting some critic reviews say the first episode is confusing. Perhaps for an American audience used to being spoon fed their narrative it might be. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but you couldn't get a more straight forward story line in the first episode. Worth a look.
