I liked it better than the second season. The dark themes are better than the teenage drama.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is still one of my top 5 favorite Netflix shows. The writing was exceptional this season especially the alternate timelines storyline and the pagan witches cult storyline. The visual effects were awesome and super cool and creepy especially the scenes in hell (especially the hell scenes in episode 1) and the scene where Hilda uses a Voodoo doll to kill Circe. The acting was outstanding especially from Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Davis, Gavin Leatherwood, Tati Gabrielle, Richard Coyle, Luke Cook, Chance Perdomo, Jedidiah Goodacre, Sam Corlett, Michelle Gomez, Lachlan Watson, Miranda Otto, and Adeline Rudolph. The makeup and hairstyling was phenomenal especically on Lucy Davis when she was a spider monster, Kiernan Shipka, Tati Gabrielle, Lachlan Watson, Richard Coyle, Vanessa Rubio, Lucy Davis (throughout the rest of the season when she isn't a spider monster), Michelle Gomez, Jedidiah Goodacre, and Sam Corlett. This was another A+ season and I loved this season even more than the first two. Expand

This season lives up to the expectations but there are two big problems that lower the score. First one is too many musical moments. They are excesive and add nothing to the plot, just filling time. And the other big problem is the huge plot twist to solve all of the troubles Sabrina is in. To avoid spoilers... that kind of solution is overused in movies, series, videogames... I knew itThis season lives up to the expectations but there are two big problems that lower the score. If you’ve only mostly liked the show before, odds are you will love the all-new eight episodes that dropped on Netflix. ... In Season 3, Shipka has finally infused her character with a full-time sense of fun and sass.

A cheeky meditation on the lust for power and the internal struggle between good and evil in us all, the series does exceptionally well when it chooses to eschew the doldrums of mortality for dark and delicious occultism.

The character growth of Part 3 is simply put, delicious. The emotional payoffs of each journey keep the show from slipping into WTF!?! territory and firmly ground CAOS as a show with something to say outside of quippy one-liners.
