Archie & Mint Glades moved into #86 just over a year ago with their 2 young children Henry and Eliza. They would like their children's room to be madeover, but nothing too crazy or over-stimulating.

The Scottish couple of James & Victoria Frasier of #98, met Archie & Mint at university. They have lived near each other for 10 years. They are going to have their breakfast room redone so they can use it for more entertaining.

Linda Barker shares her ideas for the Glades' children's room with the Frasier's. She reveals the colors she is going to use, and the homeowners get a bit concerned. But they trust her enough to see the finished product. They start with a lime green on the walls then tape it off to create a gingham effect with some different shades of yellow and green. They make hand painted stamps of vegetables to place on curtains. They carry the vegetable theme over to the ceiling. They use plastic vegetables and hang them around the light fixture.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen helps the Glades redesign their friends' breakfast room. He enlists Andy to add to the skirting around the room. Andy adds another layer and molding to the skirting (or baseboards). They also use a pre-stick molding to the walls to create a more victorian effect. Laurence and Mint work on some of the cabinetry by painting it blue, rubbing wax on top of that, then painting green over it. The wax allows the blue to come through the green to give it a more worn look. They also use stencils on the wall, but use a cross-hatch style of filling them in. Laurence doesn't seem too happy with his results but is confident the homeowners will like it.
