While watching the initial episode of TBS's newest comedy, I kept thinking of not the series Pen15, but of that weird comedy from years ago called Clifford. That's the one starring Martin Short portraying an obnoxious prepubescent boy,While watching the initial episode of TBS's newest comedy, I kept thinking of not the series Pen15, but of that weird comedy from years ago called Clifford. That's the one starring Martin Short portraying an obnoxious prepubescent boy, confounding Charles Grodin. Whereas that comedy played mostly as farce, Chad, relies on the uncomfortable tween years of puberty and fitting in with your peers. Cringe worthy comedy with a heart.… Expand

Okay I literally had to create an account so I could leave a comment because I'm not sure if I watched the same show as all the negative reviews. I thought it was **** HILARIOUS. No joke I watched both episodes twice today. My mind was blown that it was a 39 year old woman, but loved that fact because she was able to kind of mock the age she was playing, when a real 14 yo couldn't have. Not sure what all the negative reviews expected...maybe people just need to complain to be happy. Good job Nasim!… Expand

I found this very funny, can't understand the extremely negative reviews. It's uncomfortably cringe at time(all of episode three). I wouldn't have known anyone that clueless at school, and I find him very hard to root for, or not at all, butI found this very funny, can't understand the extremely negative reviews. This show is ridiculous but in all the best ways. Yes it's cringe, but it's different! Go in with an open mind ready for cringe fest and you'll enjoy it.
