[Chad] seems to have nothing but contempt for its title character, who says and does the wrong thing in very situation, then find ways to keep doing that again and again. [Apr 2021, p.75]

He’s a melodramatic 9th grader who is trying too hard to be popular. He publicly melts down when his schemes fall apart making him his own worst enemy. It’s like watching a young Michael Scott (from The Office) but more sad and harder to watch. At times he’s hilarious and has some great one-liners so I watched all episodes this season and will probably watch next season if it’s renewed. Full Review »
