Season 3 Review: The characters, and the tender relationship between them, acquired new depth with flashbacks to Strike’s military days and Robin’s confession of her own past trauma. Season 1 Review: The phrase that recurred in my mind as I watched C.B. Strike was "not enough": not enough plot, not enough characterization, not enough suspense, not enough of its own DNA.
