    There are some sitcoms that have first episodes that are so bad, there isn’t even a glimmer that you can identify that will make you think the show can find itself. Call Your Mother is one of those shows.

    Barely tolerable,but better than most other current half hour sitcoms.

    Predictable in the worst ways, the situation comedy suffers from formulaic plot lines and superficial character development. The redeeming quality of this show is that it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

    Thankfully the showtime without commercials is so short, one does not have to endure the whining of the loser kids or the milk-toast landlord/boyfriend for too long at a sitting. This show is definitely not to be binge watched. It would lower the viewer's IQ to the level of dirt if consumed in large quantities.
