Brooklyn Nine-Nine continues its silly ways, finding fun ways to crack a joke in a way that we're accustomed to for each character. While the cast is superb there are plenty of times where the episodes don't offer comedy gold. The show has settled into a groove with it's third season. Even now that the novelty has worn off the high-quality of the jokes keep things worth watching. The humor is a little more off the wall this season. Even Capt. Holt's character is being used for some truly goofy moments that play off of the character's serious personality.

Nothing really changes too much with this season

Nothing really changes too much with this season outside of some added absurdity to the comedy. Plenty of laughs are still going to be found here. The only real issue this season has is with the new relationship between the characters Jake and Amy. It's was bound to happen at some point and some great jokes often pop up because of it. However the two characters just don't have any chemistry. I get the whole "opposites attract" thing, but it just doesn't work here. They are far from the next Jim and Pam or Leslie and Ben.

Overall if you are hoping the show is still going strong in it's third season then you can rest easy. It's still a sitcom that's worth your time. Those who have yet to give it a shot should still consider doing so. There's still no time like the present. Brooklyn Nine-Nine continues to be one of the best sitcoms on television.

In S3 the show gradually mellowed out in their failed push to attract more viewers. The cold openings are painful to watch, they feel so forced. Gave up on it a few eps ago.

Season three arguably doesn't quite hit the consistent heights of previous years but this is another brilliantly funny season of the quirky cop comedy series with the cast yet again demonstrating their great on screen chemistry.

Captain Holt is pretty amazing as a character. A very enjoyable and fun TV show to watch. It is a good sitcom with a simple premise and very good hearty laughs. It is what you are looking for with a comedy show. Light, fun, & funny.

The last five or so episodes of this season really defined it, however the writing and humour start to get stale in season 3. This may just have been the creators attempt at making the show more universally appealing as opposed to clever.

This season was an overall improvement to the last one. It was funnier, more entertaining and also more engaging. The season finale was totally worth watching the rest of the season and once again Brooklyn Nine-Nine proved that it's definitely one of the best comedy show out there.

It is too early to write a review about season 3 at this stage but at a time when good ideas in comedy are disregarded to make space for adequate mainstream family/couple comedies, Brooklyn Nine Nine is golden with its great cast, dynamics and writing.

    This should be simple.
It is almost the peak of the particular sort of comedy and storytelling that Brooklyn Nine-Nine perpetuates and it includes even quirkier and enjoyable cast additions and the story and character behaviors have become rituals onto themselves; fun nonetheless.
It gets a bit dreary at times though, so it is better to not binge on this. More of a periodical

The first two episodes back find Brooklyn Nine-Nine firing on all cylinders, blending a talented ensemble with terrific writing and the show's distinctively madcap energy.
