The funniest sitcom of last year returns and it's just as hilarious as ever. The hilarious one-liners and crazy hijinks succeed thanks to how well the cast melds with one another. There were episodes of last season that regularly had me laughing out loud, and it looks like that's going to happen again with this season. Top-notch comedy.

The characters of this show just keep growing as the writing becomes better and the situations become more hilarious. Captain Holt and Jake Paralta are great characters.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine's second season ups the ante for quality writing and comedy, with the cast turning in even better performances now that they're settled with the characters on-screen. This is perhaps my favorite sitcom on TV, and now that I see season 3 is confirmed, I'm excited to continue on with the whole crew.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine had one of the strongest opening seasons of any sitcom I can recall and this second season offers more of the same thanks to its strong writing and fantastic ensemble cast.

This is easily the best season of the show. The second season is just as good as season 1, this is its strength but also its weakness as we don't really see much progression in the humour or characters.

The show wasn't as entertaining or funny as the first season and the romance between two of the leads made this season a little bit boring but it was still one of the best comedy show around.

Season two of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is more of the same when compared to the first season But that's still a good thing seeing how entertaining and funny this season has been. The writing in season 2 is quite good as well, Tons of new and re accruing jokes that show the writers care about the show. Most the actors stick to there rolls great and fit great, seeing Terry Crews and Andy Samberg work together is amazing, The whole crew feel like they have great chemistry together.
As far as TV comedy go Brooklyn 99 is one of the best in my eyes. Great Cast, Jokes and Somewhat of a story progressive story witch is more then you can say for some other TV comedy. If you watched Season 1 obviously check out season 2 but even if you haven't seen any episodes I highly recommend you watch this series.

I think that Brooklyn Nine Nine is the best comedy that is on air today. Every cast member's interaction with another one is different and Brooklyn Nine Nine is good at experimenting with different partnering ups every episode. It is like 'Office' US version with its rich funny cast but it also offers more because the interactions between the characters never run out of creativity and intrigue. There is a caricature feel to every character but this does not feel unnatural - it does not seem like the writers are making up new backgrounds for characters as they go - instead it feels like everything new in Brooklyn Nine Nine was there before and we are just learning it now. This might be based on the good chemistry in the cast and good writing but every permanent and temporary addition to the cast pays off in the overall humor of the show. Expand

BN-N S2 is the establishment of a new pop cultural setup for the show itself which really steps onto the pedal of elevating and constantly referring to the various pop cultural references that bring relevance and interest to the viewer, the characters and the show.
Also, this season the supporting cast really steps and gets to have their moment in the sun and the complement the Big 3

Also, this season the supporting cast really steps and gets to have their moment in the sun and the complement the Big 3 (Jake, Holt and Gina) of the show. Not only are they funnier but there are much further interactions within characters and the dynamics are hilarious and hysterical.
All in all, It is definitely worth watching if you have watched S1 and even if you haven't, there is still enjoyment to be had if this genre is something you consider worth you time. NINE-NINE!!!

The show's strengths [are] quirky workplace comedy, goofy throwaway lines, and best as always, Andre Braugher's superb Captain Holt. [19/26 Sep 2014, p.127]
