Brooklyn Nine Nine is a heartfelt comedy on a squad of detectives as they navigate through their jobs and their lives. While the characters are never like actual humans, they act in such a way that is both pleasing and humorous for the audience, hence including all the necessary elements for a perfect comedy show.

A good and snackeable comedy show about the shenanigans going on in a friendly neigbourhood police department in Brooklyn. I didn't really laugh much, but I was entertained nonetheless, especially the extravagant characters and their dynamics can be a treat at times.
    Great show.

It’s got that awkward but lovable and relatable sense of humor. A few too many easy jokes in the premiere can be forgiven for setting up the characters and premise

The first name I noticed when looking at the people behind the show was Micheal Schur, creator of the excellent Parks and Recreation, and it is clear that he and his writing team know just how to make this kind of comedy work as Brooklyn Nine-Nine hits the ground running from the pilot episode. From the outset the script is funny and fast paced and the “supporting” cast of characters quickly settle into a groove. A very successful first season with the promise of more to come!

The best show on television right now. While I'm used to comedies not making me laugh at all, this one I actually find really funny, and the majority of jokes aren't stupid or gross (which is, by the genre's standards, saying a lot). The characters are believable and three-dimensional, not to mention extremely likable. Pure perfection.

Many have stated that we are currently in the golden era of television. Brooklyn nine-nine proves just that, with its racially diverse cast, familiar faces and extremely accomplished actors.
Brooklyn nine-nine is not the average run of the mill police show. It perfectly defies expectations by presenting itself as a modern sitcom in a setting expected to be filled with drama: a police precinct in the heart of Brooklyn. Although it does have its share of murders and mystery, its substance is founded in its background for its characters, overall relatability, and comedic timing. For a modern sitcom to be considered “spectacular” it must fit this criterion. Brooklyn nine-nine has excellent command over the three, illustrating the high quality of content it brings to viewers who enjoy sitcoms, but desires more than exclusively redundant jokes that many sitcoms tend to possess.
Part of the reason that Brooklyn nine-nine can be considered “spectacular” is that it delves into the daily lives of these workers in the 99th police precinct of Brooklyn. May it be the detectives, the Captain, or even a civilian worker. They explore their lifestyles and build upon their personality in a way that will leave you attached the characters. For example, the main character, Jacob Peralta has an outgoing, charismatic charm, yet struggles with money due to his childish spending habits. Although he has his flaws, the audience still loves him as his heart is in the right place 100% of the time. This depth in character for detective Peralta creates an attachment the audience feels with his character. This show is spectacular because it has this ability to attach the audience to not only the main character, but the side characters as well. It displays unique personalities for each character, and not only the main. It adds meaning, for the audience to be able to empathize with the lives of the characters in the show.
Not only does it delve into the lives in the “nine-nine” as they call it, but it executes scenes and happenings in the show that allow the viewer to relate. For example, there are many parts of the show where a conversation will become highly awkward between two characters. The Captain of the precinct, for example, would command Peralta to explain a joke said, thus drawing out the situation longer than need be and causing unnecessary uncomfortableness to everyone in the room. This aspect of the show is an aspect of people’s lives. Awkwardness is a characteristic of daily livelihood, and Brooklyn nine-nines command over this awkwardness is part of what makes it “spectacular
A final criterion that Brooklyn nine-nine meets is that it sets up situations in the show to be highly comedic. It does not rely upon simple jokes versed between characters, but entire situations that characters find themselves in to add comic relief. It builds upon the conversations and relationships characters have with each other. For example, there was a bet between Detective Peralta and his rival Amy Santiago that whoever gets more felony arrests by the end of the year wins. If Peralta wins, he gets to take Santiago on a date, yet if Santiago wins, she gets his car. Relationships like these arise in the show often and make the show exceptional in the sense that a complex relationship can be a set up for jokes and awkward situations between characters that make the show comedic, in turn portraying the quality of its content.
Brooklyn nine-nine has all the makings of a successful TV show. It has faced external pressures with funding, yet is still widely loved due to it meeting the criterion earlier mentioned that makes a show exceptional. The fact that sitcom devotees can simultaneously experience both enjoyment from its comedic timing, and attachment from its relatability and character development truly exemplifies its reputation as “spectacular.”

But it is by far one of the more enjoyable shows amongst all its contemporaries who tend to strive for approval through quirkiness.
Adam Sandberg and Andre Braugher are the really two with the best dialogue and moments in the seasons and the rest of supporting squad at The Nine-Nine chipping quite satisfactorily every other time. And there's Chelsea Peretti's Gina Linetti with some craziest and best lines and things to do while also being the most annoying thing that will ever walk in front of a camera screen (excluding Jar Jar Binks). Since a blow-by-blow explanation of the particular scenes is not a very cool spoiler thing to do or even necessarily something reviews are about always.
So, I'll simply put it this way -Should You watch it? Maybe Yes. When you want something wacky and weird and fun in some of pastime. Not for a binge or not because you seriously want to watch something for a while. It is enjoyable at intervals.

In Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the relationships between the characters are deep-rooted and beautiful, while still maintaining its comedic side. Many current world issues (such as racism and sexuality) are also discussed in a light-hearted manner which educates and entertains at the same time. It's also nice how most episodes have a wholehearted definite 'conclusion' that don't leave the viewers hanging.

The first season is without a doubt the worst of the 3 seasons of the show. But still it has great potential and will evolve in what I think Scrubs in a police station describes best. Not from a narrative standpoint but from the story type and structure.

The cast is diverse and talented, and combined with the writing makes for a pleasant fast paced comedy. The camera work in particular is to be praised as it captures the moments of humour wonderfully, often highlighting particular reactions that enhance the wit. The story line is well rounded and remembers points made back in earlier episodes which is great for a show fast paced and home to many plots.

There is a blend of comedy, action and romance as well as some underlying tones that everyone can relate to. Overall, one of my favourite shows around.

In general , its not hilarious but is fun in most of it,, it can entertain me as a guy who watch series occasionally, it the type of series that you dont need to watch everything in one day, you can do it when you has nothing to do, but for me is really good.

The rave reviews surrounding Brooklyn's 99th precinct were certainly not for nothing but perhaps overly positive. One aspect that caught my eye in particular was the way that the cast chemistry transfers effectively to character interaction, building the bases for which the show's entire comedic presence can be thoroughly felt.
