Unlike the other music reality shows which feature solo pop artists or vocal groups, Breaking The Band puts a much needed face to the thousands of real bands out there trying to 'break' into the music business. The reality is, 95% of all full-time bands live at or below the poverty level. These unsigned bands struggle from day to day, touring in broken down vans, saving what little money they have to record and manufacture their CD’s, and all the while, still competing with each others egos and daily drama just as any rock band does.

Breaking into the music business is next to impossible…but for the right band, with the right drive and determination, anything is possible.
