Season 1 Review: “Boston Blue” is following the exact formula as “Blue Bloods,” for better or worse. Whether the show has the success of its predecessor will depend on the emotional factor of the crimes and criminal cases the characters face in their law enforcement work. Read full review

Season 1 Review: The first episode of Boston Blue twists itself into storytelling knots to get Donnie Wahlberg’s Blue Bloods character working with the Boston PD, and the way the Silver family is constructed feels equally as contrived.
