    I just took the time to write a full review, which Metacritic lost. So let me just say that "Bones" has jumped the shark--has jumped a whole school of sharks--with the irony-free birth of Christ-ine in a manger and the visit of Temperance to heaven. That the show also takes the trouble to parody much more sophisticated faiths (see the ignorant, cultish treatment of Buddhism in Episode 13)I just took the time to write a full review, which Metacritic lost. So let me just say that "Bones" has jumped the shark--has jumped a whole school of sharks--with the irony-free birth of Christ-ine in a manger and the visit of Temperance to heaven. That the show also takes the trouble to parody much more sophisticated faiths (see the ignorant, cultish treatment of Buddhism in Episode 13) makes it not just clueless but offensive. The show has lost the deft, wry touch it once had, substituting cheap sentiment, cheap devotion, and brain-dead parochialism.… Expand

    I have always loved the show but ever since Zach was put away (although his apprentice to the serial killer episodes were the best) it just has not been the same. I was even willing to keep watching through the romance and marriage between Dr. so-so looks and the artist. (These other characters don't hold importance for me except for their work.) I was never crazy about Booth's ex-girlfriend becoming the new boss, I liked the old one better. He actually irritated me less. All too often the characters get into situations that are so ridiculous (i.e. Gravedigger) that I get bored. Not only do I know they will get out of it, I just don't care as to how they do so. I like the chemistry with Bones and Booth and hope they never get together. I have not made it a point to see the new season and only catch it when channel surfing. It just lost enough for me that I rather watch the news but I will still see an episode here and there if it can hold my interest. Also, the onslaught of replacements for Zach were completely uninteresting.… Expand

    Great show! I love the chemistry between all the cast members with the mix of crime. It is a fun show that everyone can enjoy and even learn something from! :)

    Fans (like me) have waited seemingly forever for the season 7 premiere of BONES. The 6/10 grade is not at all to say that it was a disappointment; they just could have done a lot better.

    The thing that is really irking, though, about the new style taken on by BONES is that not only does it have the usual surreal humor, but that same comedy is seemingly undermining the entire, serious    Fans (like me) have waited seemingly forever for the season 7 premiere of BONES.     The thing that is really irking, though, about the new style taken on by BONES is that not only does it have the usual surreal humor, but that same comedy is seemingly undermining the entire, serious plot, whereas before it was just an embellishment. Hmm. What a true mystery that is.

    Thankfully, the clichés are not repeating, meaning that there is the same gist as usual, but it's not JUST murder and guts. Still gory fun, whether it matters or not. A recommended watch, still, for any "Whodunnit?" fan.    … Expand

    Unfortunately I have to say that it's definitely a case of "jumped the shark". I used to watch this show quite often and it was very interesting...but now it's like the same thing again and again...and quite frankly I'm getting fed up with the main characters trying to flirt and nothing ever comes of it. I have a feeling since they are also writers/producers of the show that this isUnfortunately I have to say that it's definitely a case of "jumped the shark".
