My daughter and I were generally amused and loved watching the 3 episodes so far. We are also very much Nigerian and American. Per Magda4movies, we are supposed to hate it the most? I've seen the first five episodes so far. This looks to be developing into a good show. The character development has been very good, par for the course with Mr Lorre. The story is engaging, it makes me look forward to the next episode. II've seen the first five episodes so far. This looks to be developing into a good show. The character development has been very good, par for the course with Mr Lorre. The story is engaging, it makes me look forward to the next episode. I do agree, though, with one of the prior comments here that the hospital humor is sometimes in poor taste, e.g., the death scene mentioned, and the scene in the operating room where the surgeon threw an organ. Without that type of non-humor, I would have given this an 8. For now, though, the DVR is still set to record it each week, one of the very few new shows this season to earn that distinction.… Expand

Funny and clever. Plot is unique for a change. Actors are excellent and the aunt and uncle carry the show. Bob's Mom is a brilliant actress. Whole team is a great cast.

Its different from the typical sitcoms.
The laughter cue is a bit OTT. A good one nonetheless

I love the show. Nothing there is nothing cringe worthy about the jokes and nothing stereotypical about the story line, just plain realism; as a Nigerian living in the US I can relate with the theme and the characters.
