Season 1 Review:
Captures, with a frenzied and dextrous clarity, the unmoored, wired, euphoric, listless feeling of being very online during the pandemic. .... “Inside” is a virtuosic one-man musical extravaganza, and also an experimental film about cracking up via Wi-Fi connection while trying to make said one-man musical extravaganza—although, in the mediated age, when genres are twisted and mashed together, characterizing it feels almost beyond the point.

Virtuosic. ... It feels as if he has created something entirely new and unlikely, both sweepingly cinematic and claustrophobically intimate, a Zeitgeist-chasing musical comedy made alone to an audience of no one. This is ART. I've watched almost 10 times and every time I find something new. Bo has great comedy shows already but this is amazing. You may watch once and enjoy it but I swear on repeat visits this netflix special just keeps giving. It's like a Tool or Mars Volta song. Every line has 12 meanings.

Eighth Grade was very good but inside steps up his directing by tenfold. This like a mix of Weird Al and Mark Rubillet had a baby.

Bo Burnham knows how to make good specials. This movie captures quarantine and its impact on us perfectly with catchy, yet really deep and meaningful songs
