Jun 9, 2019Perkier and less disturbing than the last season, avoid buying into shouts that the show is derivative and instead enjoy the ride. Definitely worth your time.

Jun 5, 2019Miley's episode on Black Mirror made me cry the fact that some scenes are not only fiction and actually happen to some artists broke my heart
-
Jun 5, 2019guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrl MILEY CYRUS is an ACTRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Jun 5, 2019Congratulations of your performance on black mirror miley cyrus, it's **** amazing and u deserved a Emmy for this! QUEEN
-
Jun 18, 2019Solo vi la serie para ver el capitulo de miley cyrus me encanto mucho !!!

Jun 6, 2019This is a very different season of Black Mirror. It's not as "dark" and "malicious" as all of the other seasons but it's definitely a good one. I was so surprised to see Miley Cyrus perform this well in her episode. The Vipers one has good twist as well. Well done.
-
Jun 5, 2019JUST WATCHED MILEY’S BLACK MIRROR EPISODE AND OMFG SHE WAS AMAZING IN IT!
-
Jun 5, 2019Impressed by 'Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too'. Some characters felt really raw, I could feel the panic of Ashley desperate to get out of that bed. Some aspects of it felt closed to the reality we already witnessed.
-
Dec 21, 2019Season 5 of Black Mirror is great, although not as impactful as previous seasons. The second episode is the highlight of this season.

Jun 10, 2019Viper: 8/10 I like fighting games and I thought the story was pretty good. It is the most thought provoking episode.
Smithereens: 7/10 The overall plot wasn't exciting or shocking, but there's a decent amount of tension and suspense, and god the acting of Andrew Scott is phenomenal here, very very emotional.
Ashley Too: 5/10 Very mediocre throughout. Miley Cyrus can act though. -
Jun 16, 2019Like all of Black Mirror this season is pretty hit or miss. The second episode is really interesting and sort of makes up for the weaknesses of the first and third episodes.
-
Jun 8, 2019Not terrible but it was kinda mediocre especially compared to its past.
The 1st episode was sexy but kinda simplistic.
The 2nd episode was kinda boring/banal.
The 3rd was the best but not perfect. -
Jun 12, 2019Although not as creative or technology-involved and based as previous seasons, the amazing, exciting, interesting and thrilling storylines and plots of the episodes (especially Episode 2 and 3) captured the attention of the viewer successfully. However, the endings of the season tend to end abruptly.
-
Jun 5, 2019The season is fantastic compare to previous seasons.
The tech is no longer the center of the series, but the human conflicts.
Had a blast watching it -

May 16, 2020It is hard to deny that our world is constantly changing, and in the transition to post-industrial society, the speed of these changes has made a huge leap and continues to grow. Most people don't think about it and take it for granted. Black Mirror unobtrusively suggests thinking about where you and I are going. And sooner or later, you're gonna have to think about it.
-
Jun 6, 2019It's decent. Too shallow in many parts. Writing seems rushed too often. Expected more

Aug 11, 2019By far the worst season of 'Black Mirror', the plots were super flat and uninteresting.
-
Jun 6, 2019Episode 1 was meh. It didn't feel like a Black Mirror episode and it was forced. Episode 2 felt more normal and was probably the best episode of the season. It had strong acting and a powerful message. While Miley Cyrus was great and drove the 3rd episode, It still had the worst and most predictable plot. Ironically, it felt like a Disney channel movie.
-
Jun 7, 2019Frustrating... With all the great characters, they still couldn't do a great job with this season which I think is the worst (tied with the one). Disappointing...
-
Jun 11, 2019I liked black mirror because it was dark, edgy and shocking. Now it feels americanised and sold out.
-
Aug 18, 2021Eu tenho certeza que colocaram aquele episódio da Hannah Montana sem querer sério kkkkkkkkkk
-
Jun 20, 2019Easily the worst season, full of cringe moments, bad acting and ham-fisted twists.
-
Jun 9, 2019Easily the worst season of black mirror so far. It lacks the depth of story and social/technology message that all of the other seasons carry throughout.
-
Jul 25, 2019This season was overall, a failure. I have always believed that Black Mirror was too pretentious, but this season did not even try to say something meaningful, it just resorted to pure techno-cynicism.
-
Jun 7, 2019Worst season so far. The concepts for each episode were preposterous. The only saving grace for each episode was the acting which saved the wretched plots. Miley Cyrus was superb in a ridiculously bad episode. Hopefully the writers rally for the next season or add to this season because it went downhill fast from Season 4 until now. What happened?

The three instalments vary in mood, genre and just about everything else (as anthologies are designed to do) but they share a new air of calm authority. There’s an unhurriedness to each, a greater willingness to linger and develop moments that might have passed as a single beat in other seasons that perhaps bespeaks an increasing confidence of Black Mirror’s creators in their product. If so, it’s been well-earned.
-
Two of the three stories making up Black Mirror's fifth season offers a more hopeful vision. Things get kinker and funkier in the "Striking Vipers" episodes... In the most purely enjoyable hour, "Rachel, Jack And Ashley Too," Miley Cyrus is a delight. [10 - 23 Jun 2019, p.9]

It may not be on the level of classic Black Mirror and the mirror may not show us as much as it used to, but it’s still a fine place to look for digital-era self-reflection. Just don’t expect this run of episodes to break your brain.
