Jan 3, 2022It's honest, in your face and hilarious. Do they push the envelope at times? You bet and it's done very well. Completely filthy, but totally relatable

Jun 19, 2019This Show Is Absolutely Insane
Big Mouth is so f*cking weird that it’s brilliant. -
Apr 11, 2019Big Mouth is an exercise in smugness and gross-out humor. When I watch a comedy, I don't really want to be beaten over the head with how cool and enlightened the writers are. We get it - you guys are urbane and socially conscious. Not to mention, John Mulaney's and Maya Rudolph's voices can be quite grating. I recommend watching Kroll Show over this hipstery and overly cute comedy.

Dec 4, 2018Revolting, unfunny, preachy, and derivative, Big Mouth is one of the worst animated shows I've ever seen. Even the animation is ugly and offputting. It's also full of whiny SJW politics and just as you'd expect that absolutely kills any hope of real humor making an appearance. Skip this terrible show.

Oct 31, 2018This show is brilliant. Clearly not for everyone but easily one of my favorite shows in years -- insanely well done, hilarious, humane (and yes, totally raunchy) take on teen years.
-
Oct 31, 2018Puberty, Animated. It's the best idea ever. Who hasn't been through these things? Unapologetic-ally raunchy, funny and incredibly empathetic. The voice acting delivers!

Oct 25, 2018I love this kind of humour, it's gross as hell, deeply witty and unlike Family guy and South Park, isn't out to offend everyone. Actually it has a real soft heart to it and cares deeply about it's characters and the issues they face. Very intelligent writing, great acting and just a lot of fun.

Oct 9, 2018Simply put, this show is beautiful. It's witty, funny, honest and very close to real life. It's an uncensored perfectly written gold mine. I Guarantee if you watch this show you'll laugh several times and relate to the show back when you were a teen and going through puberty. The voice acting is perfect and every character has depth. Great, just great.

Sep 21, 2018É incrível como esta série conseguiu mostrar a comédia e o horror de momentos tão envergonhantes da puberdade. Os monstros das hormonas são fenomenais! Hilariante série!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jul 16, 2018Quite hilarious and shows in funny, bizarre and at the same time clever manner how puberty is. It's hard not identify yourself watching Big Mouth. Although some characters being irritable, show still is a memorable comedy.

Apr 9, 2018I love it. It is funny and honest about how some entering puberty have difficulty doing so. Those who refuses to see the humor obviously had a great pubescent teen life or is in denial. Most should be able to identify with at least one of the issues discussed in the show.

Feb 13, 2018Was expecting a smart show with interesting situations. It's basically just plain dick jokes that you could make yourself. It as if your dumb friend came over and just made obnoxious and unfunny crude jokes whenever you would try to talk to him. There's potential, but the humor is lacking.

Feb 2, 2018I can get behind this show. The humor is good and the premise is good too. It's refreshing and makes me look back on my own childhood and laugh.

Jan 21, 2018Started watching Big Mouth because of the reviews and to be honest I wasn't a big fan of the first episode. Luckily I kept watching the show because episode 2 and beyond were quite funny! It's a good raunchy cartoon and perfect for a quick binge.

Dec 24, 2017Very inappropriate for 12 yr olds and young teenagers, sexualizing children is wrong!

Dec 10, 2017I generally liked the show, the humor and jokes are honest and funny. The only downfall for me was the musical numbers on every episode, maybe if there was just one in the season I would have been fine like ah its just a parody of modern kids shows. But it got a bit extreme when every episode has a 2-3 minute long musical number.
Otherwise I think the show is pretty good -

Nov 27, 2017This show is anything but funny, The humour is so horribly dull that I found myself changing the show within the first half of the first episode, and I did not regret it when I tried to watch it again. Big Mouth tries to be funny and had one or two moments, but is really just a waste of time buried under a mound of stupid and unlaughable potty humour.

Nov 24, 2017I love that this animated series are going further than anyone (I think) has gone before. It is a fantastic coming of age story, making the struggle being in puberty like fun and even a little informative. Hormone Monster is my absolute favourite! I am 40 years old, and this is the funniest thing I have seen in years!

If Big Mouth were just a series of jokes about how weird and gross puberty is, it wouldn’t be much more than a decent way to kill some time during a slow weekend. But the show achieves a new, deeper level of comedy by remaining hyper aware of the fact that puberty isn’t just about bodies changing, but about what it means to grow up at all.
-
Big Mouth works because it’s unflinchingly honest. Whether it’s mining twisted jokes or universal human experiences, the whole concept comes together because it consistently tells the truth.

There’s a frankness and honesty beneath the show’s raunchiness that sometimes echo the best work of Judy Blume and other great chroniclers of adolescent angst, especially where the fraught and seldom-discussed feelings of boys are involved. It’s charming and repulsive all at once.
