Feb 13, 2018Was expecting a smart show with interesting situations. It's basically just plain dick jokes that you could make yourself. It as if your dumb friend came over and just made obnoxious and unfunny crude jokes whenever you would try to talk to him. There's potential, but the humor is lacking.

Oct 10, 2017This show is gross like Brickleberry and funny as Allen Gregory. If thats your thing this is your show. I watched two episodes and i think i have brain cancer now. Thanks NetFlix.
-
Oct 21, 2017What starts off as a cute and clever cartoon that takes a look at the absurity of going through puberity slowly gets really weird, starts to go off the tracks and strays from what made it good to begin with.

Oct 2, 2017This is what cartoons are meant for: going through the horror and comedy of the most awkward time in anyones life (puberty), all while sparing real child actors from sacrificing their youth/innocence for childhood fame. It is raunchy, it is crude and it is hilarious. The hormone monsters are just too good.

Nov 27, 2017This show is anything but funny, The humour is so horribly dull that I found myself changing the show within the first half of the first episode, and I did not regret it when I tried to watch it again. Big Mouth tries to be funny and had one or two moments, but is really just a waste of time buried under a mound of stupid and unlaughable potty humour.
-
Nov 22, 2017This show is needlessly rude, crass, and doesn't tackle the subject matter respectively. Ideas are wasted, and its constantly screaming. I can only imagine edgy teens liking this.
-
Nov 6, 2017This show hides behind breaking taboo when all it really is is a cartoon that lets you watch little kids jerk off and have sex with pillows and little girl vagina. Not all taboos should be smashed
-
Sep 29, 2017Not for the faint of heart but funny as all get out. Belongs on the shelf with Rick and Morty. Smart. Observant. Well acted. And solid writing that manages to sidestep most easy cliches and tropes. I haven’t laughed so hard since, well, the last episode of a Rick and Morty. :)

Dec 4, 2018Revolting, unfunny, preachy, and derivative, Big Mouth is one of the worst animated shows I've ever seen. Even the animation is ugly and offputting. It's also full of whiny SJW politics and just as you'd expect that absolutely kills any hope of real humor making an appearance. Skip this terrible show.
-
Oct 17, 2017It's honest, in your face and hilarious. Do they push the envelope at times? You bet and it's done very well. Completely filthy, but totally relatable. I love this show.
-
Oct 19, 2017They tackle some difficult subject matter and social taboos and do a solid job. I think this is a strong first season and the characters will only get better with time.
-
Dec 24, 2017Very inappropriate for 12 yr olds and young teenagers, sexualizing children is wrong!
-
Oct 2, 2017Transforming puberty into a comic, ironic and perverted creature was just nonsense, which is why this show is great! Everyone can relate to most of the situations shown here and even if some are cringe-worthy, they're reason for loud laughter now, not embarrassment.
-
Oct 17, 2017I made it through 5 minutes of Big Mouth. A very strong nope feeling made me stop it. I love much of the cast, but everything about it from the disturbing lips on the characters to the … ugghh, just no. Who is this show for ? Why would an adult want to watch it ? Why would a teen want to watch it ?
-
Nov 24, 2017I love that this animated series are going further than anyone (I think) has gone before. It is a fantastic coming of age story, making the struggle being in puberty like fun and even a little informative. Hormone Monster is my absolute favourite! I am 40 years old, and this is the funniest thing I have seen in years!

Mar 20, 2018lame joke terrible writing terrible animated
i don't like this show and the joke they made not even fun -
Oct 10, 2017This show is a 7,5... its good, but i thing people dont understand what it is... its a show about how it feels like growing up... yes it got some gross stuff that somtimes goes a bit overbored... and a few charecters is made into **** at the end, but there is still so mutch to laugh at... especially if you can rember some of them from your own time growing up.

-
Oct 1, 2017This show is smart, funny, novel, and well voiced (Maya Rudolph's Hormone Monstress in particular). But it is definitely not for the prudish or the faint of heart.

Oct 5, 2017Absolutely superb! Both Hormone Monsters steal every scene. Brilliantly captures the spirit of puberty in all it's nasty glory. Not a single episode where I wasn't rolling on the floor. Bring on season 2!
-
Oct 9, 2017Big Mouth's inappropriateness is what makes it genius however it also hinders it from being a classically innovative and funny show. As its dark humour is in the same vein as Bojack Horseman it will probably last several seasons, but not necessarily be rewatchable.
-
Nov 19, 2017One of the best new shows on TV, Big Mouth explores the awkwardness and hilarity of puberty with refreshingly obscene wit and original animated visuals. (I wish this show was on when I was in high school.)

Nov 19, 2017Hilarious!! But be warned: it will be extremely awkward if you try to watch this with someone that doesn't have this sense of humor.
The first episodes were great, I'd give this show a 9 or 10 if it wouldn't have had so many episodes. By the end of the season the last few episodes weren't as great. -
Oct 23, 2017This comedy made me laugh every episode. Most shows start slow and aren't that funny but big mouth is funny from the start. If you like Family Guy, South Park, or any animated comedies you'll enjoy Big Mouth. Can't wait for season 2.

Oct 26, 2017Cleverly good. You can easily identify yourself with the characters, all references to pop culture are extremely humorous, we can watch the events of puberty in a hilariously vulgar way. Sometimes it is kind of strange when they mix the reality of the situation with fiction, but overall it’s a great show.
-
Oct 13, 2017A dirtier version of South Park. Actually funny at times, but sometimes overly gross. It is entertaining at best. Not a fan of the animation. The voice actors should sound more like kids instead of adults.

Oct 2, 2017It is so stupid that Netflix should check what's going on. They can do products with a great quality like BoJack or F is for the Family if we are talking about cartoon. Unfortunately, Big Mouth is not the case.
this series makes Seth McFarlane look like a genius. -
Oct 25, 2018I love this kind of humour, it's gross as hell, deeply witty and unlike Family guy and South Park, isn't out to offend everyone. Actually it has a real soft heart to it and cares deeply about it's characters and the issues they face. Very intelligent writing, great acting and just a lot of fun.
-
Jul 16, 2018Quite hilarious and shows in funny, bizarre and at the same time clever manner how puberty is. It's hard not identify yourself watching Big Mouth. Although some characters being irritable, show still is a memorable comedy.
-
-
Oct 28, 2017I love season 1!!!!!!!!!! Looking towards the season 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Dec 10, 2017I generally liked the show, the humor and jokes are honest and funny. The only downfall for me was the musical numbers on every episode, maybe if there was just one in the season I would have been fine like ah its just a parody of modern kids shows. But it got a bit extreme when every episode has a 2-3 minute long musical number.
Otherwise I think the show is pretty good -

Apr 9, 2018I love it. It is funny and honest about how some entering puberty have difficulty doing so. Those who refuses to see the humor obviously had a great pubescent teen life or is in denial. Most should be able to identify with at least one of the issues discussed in the show.
-
Oct 31, 2018Puberty, Animated. It's the best idea ever. Who hasn't been through these things? Unapologetic-ally raunchy, funny and incredibly empathetic. The voice acting delivers!
-
Sep 21, 2018É incrível como esta série conseguiu mostrar a comédia e o horror de momentos tão envergonhantes da puberdade. Os monstros das hormonas são fenomenais! Hilariante série!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Oct 9, 2018Simply put, this show is beautiful. It's witty, funny, honest and very close to real life. It's an uncensored perfectly written gold mine. I Guarantee if you watch this show you'll laugh several times and relate to the show back when you were a teen and going through puberty. The voice acting is perfect and every character has depth. Great, just great.
-
Oct 31, 2018This show is brilliant. Clearly not for everyone but easily one of my favorite shows in years -- insanely well done, hilarious, humane (and yes, totally raunchy) take on teen years.
-
Jan 21, 2018Started watching Big Mouth because of the reviews and to be honest I wasn't a big fan of the first episode. Luckily I kept watching the show because episode 2 and beyond were quite funny! It's a good raunchy cartoon and perfect for a quick binge.

Apr 11, 2019Big Mouth is an exercise in smugness and gross-out humor. When I watch a comedy, I don't really want to be beaten over the head with how cool and enlightened the writers are. We get it - you guys are urbane and socially conscious. Not to mention, John Mulaney's and Maya Rudolph's voices can be quite grating. I recommend watching Kroll Show over this hipstery and overly cute comedy.

Jun 19, 2019This Show Is Absolutely Insane
Big Mouth is so f*cking weird that it’s brilliant. -
Feb 2, 2018I can get behind this show. The humor is good and the premise is good too. It's refreshing and makes me look back on my own childhood and laugh.
-
Jan 3, 2022It's honest, in your face and hilarious. Do they push the envelope at times? You bet and it's done very well. Completely filthy, but totally relatable
-
If Big Mouth were just a series of jokes about how weird and gross puberty is, it wouldn’t be much more than a decent way to kill some time during a slow weekend. But the show achieves a new, deeper level of comedy by remaining hyper aware of the fact that puberty isn’t just about bodies changing, but about what it means to grow up at all.
-
Big Mouth works because it’s unflinchingly honest. Whether it’s mining twisted jokes or universal human experiences, the whole concept comes together because it consistently tells the truth.
-
There’s a frankness and honesty beneath the show’s raunchiness that sometimes echo the best work of Judy Blume and other great chroniclers of adolescent angst, especially where the fraught and seldom-discussed feelings of boys are involved. It’s charming and repulsive all at once.
