Boring AF lawyer discussions contrasted with more interesting illegal stuff.

Why do all the main characters have to be like Bugs Bunny...They are all like super heroes with super intelligence. They are always one step ahead of everyone else...Masters of planning stuff out etc.. I'm sorry but these shows includingWhy do all the main characters have to be like Bugs Bunny...They are all like super heroes with super intelligence. They are always one step ahead of everyone else...Masters of planning stuff out etc.. I'm sorry but these shows including Breaking Bad have terrible writing. Every once in a while an episode will be really good but 75% of these shows are just boring as hell. I just skipped to the end of the last episode I saw because it was so boring. I don't want to spend 10 minutes watching a character get dressed in a mirror listening to oldies music. Seriously, who defends a crappy show like this. I'm sure the series finale will be good. It's the first episode or maybe even the second that hooks you then the rest are just complete poop until the finale. Edit- I just read some of the other negative reviews and yep...they all see it too..its soooo boring...The story just fills in time with crap...Like Johnathan Banks' character talking to his grand daughter...ZzzzZZzzzz Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. That really was a long con. "Better Call Saul" used to be one of my favourite shows. It is incredebly well crafted, and Odenkirk&Seeahorn deserve every award on this planet. But Season 6 was a crash landing, IMHO: Jimmy became Saul OFFSCREEN, the stories of Saul and Mike DID NOT merge, Saul und Gus DID NOT strike a deal -- and finally the Show was NOT self- contained AT ALL. The dilemma of the former criminal lawyer with a good heart (more or less) got solved by serving the ex- wife and respecting the (terrible) dead brother (the finale was a daily soap in black & white - and with a lot of references to "Breaking Bad"). Jimmy`s and Kim`s shared inferiority complex and competitiveness were brillantly exposed (best thing in the season), but hastly buried under plattitudes about money and Miracle Whip. Only violent criminals were capable of heroic deeds - no one is braver than Nacho, more honourable than Mike, more competent than Gus, smarter than Lalo (and even Jimmy has to discover his violent side before he can become kind of a hero). And in other aspects it was Breaking Bad all over again: Women are men`s downfall (one way or the other), a life without crime is boring as hell, grabbing money or volunteering, murderous grandiosity or false humility are the two only ways to live a life, minor details of a crime demand nevernending montages with sacral undertones (yes, that`s irony, kind of, not the subverting kind). Society doesn`t exist, predestination does. I now have to apologize all the time to people I convinced of wathing "BCS" who hate "BB". Expand

I love a lot of this show but there's just so much I also hate. There's only one episode I would actually consider a 10/10 and most episodes range from a 4 to an 8 at best

So I just started watching this show, hoping for an interesting legal drama with lots of courtroom scenes. so far I'm bored out of my mind. I'll keep trying a little longer but so far this is not what I'm looking for

If you want something boring made with good actors and with a feeling of nostalgia from the characters because of Breaking Bad, this is for you.

It's slow ... damn slow - unforgivably slow. Saul Goodman was fun to watch as a free-wheeling, fast-talking lovable scumbag, but is just tolerable in this prequel series where he is a maudlin, depressing, boring schlub. I know a good series for this production company's next effort though: do the prequel to The Hulk, but only show Bruce Banner doing his lab work, crunching numbers, eating lunch, reading others' research ... that sort of thing. And throw in a tepid dispute with his neighbor, and why not a functional, by-the-book romantic relationship with an uninteresting woman he met at the laundromat. Forget all that green monster exciting stuff - that's been done to death. Expand

Starts slow, gets into its stride, season 5 and 6 are probably not worth watching. It is just closing the loop for Breaking bad to start.
