Oct 26, 2011I watched the first 2 episodes and found it disjointed and just plain uninteresting. I didn't find it the least bit scary or frightening. It was very boring and dull. I love English TV shows but this one is certainly one that I would rather not have to watch again. I just couldn't get into it at all.

Though the stories provide plenty of jolts, Bedlam becomes less scary with repetition during its six-episode duration, because we can see these persistent ghouls all too easily.

Too bad we've seen it all before, with more inspired execution and interesting characters.

The hauntings are staged for maximum creepiness; the show (and James) look great.
