Summary: Things go from bad to worse for Louisa Atherton in her 49th year. When her husband dies in another woman's bed, Louisa finds out he has left her bankrupt. Forced to return home to her mother with her daughter, Louisa finds that she needs to reinvent herself, and that it will be the hardest thing she's ever had to do.
