Nov 23, 2013The best modern sci-fi tv series. There is great action and surprisingly good special-effects in BSG and it all comes together to create an amazingly enjoyable experience.

May 27, 2011Best written, acted, directed and scored show ever on television. I'm not going to review each season, because, well I got bounties to collect, son. But let me put it this way, I'd trade all the credits I made selling Han Solo in carbonite AND my nude hologram of princess Leia stripping off her metal bikini for the complete series of this show.

Jan 17, 2013There is a large cult following behind this show and I am proud to be a part of it. In fact, I would consider this series to be one of my favorite television shows in existence.
Whenever a series develops such devotion, there is always a reason for it. Battlestar Galactica is often overlooked as being another -

Jun 22, 2011One of the best sci-fi shows in years. The effects were done great. And I loved how the show had a quite dark and dystopian atmosphere I really hated the religious elements though, this was quite annoying from the beginning to the end.

Mar 24, 2012One of the best science fiction shows that I have ever seen. Excellent character building, a good amount of mystery, no pointless techno-babble. All in all an excellent show.

May 29, 2012It's a pity that one of the best and awesome TV show is as unknow as this. I mean, because it's SCIFI, a majority just think that there will be some evils aliens and badass against them, but BSG is faaaaaar away from these clichés. To me, this is one of the best show that you must see before dying.

Feb 25, 2013trully the best show i have ever seen. The characters, the story, soundtrack are perfect. Animations are well done for the time this was filmed. Really a must see for anyone who likes Sci-fi theme.

Jun 17, 2011I've never been into Star Trek and really never bothered. I've loved Stargate: SG-1 and I loved Babylon 5. But damn, Battlestar Galactica is a friggin' 10 out of 10 Sci-Fi show!

May 25, 2018One of the reasons that there is a Golden Age Of Television. Binge-worthy indeed. This is one great rides with a great message to it in the end. The last show was riveting.

Mar 21, 2017Breathtaking first season. I don't recall ever being on the edge of my seat for a TV series before this. 33, in particular, was an astounding episode, better than so many sci-fi movies. If anything, it may have set the bar too high. Once the survivors stopped running, the series lost some valuable momentum and took awhile to regain its footing.

Oct 26, 2015Slow start but ultimately fantastic! The ending was... for want of a better word... crap BUT if your philosophy is that "life's a journey not a destination" then this series is brilliant!

Perhaps the most refreshing thing about this re-imagined "Battlestar" is its darkness (and by that I don't just mean the show's dusky blue-and-brown visual palette). This new "Battlestar," which is creatively helmed by "Carnivale" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" veteran Ronald D. Moore, doesn't pretend that the aftermath of the mass destruction of most of humanity is anything but deeply scary. [14 Jan 2005, p.C3]

The show could use a little more humor, and that may come as supporting players step into more prominent roles, but the first several episodes bode well for a series that should eventually win over fans, old and new. [14 Jan 2005, p.E33]

The show stresses the sex a little too aggressively, the better to pull in teen boys. Nevertheless, this promising show is more the heir to Farscape than the old Battlestar, which is all for the best. [14 Jan 2005]
