Summary: Are You Afraid of the Dark? is a show based on a group of kids called "The Midnight Society". Members meet in a location in the woods and take turns telling their own spooky tales. The series aired on Nickelodeon in the United States as part of their SNICK line-up in 1992. It lasted for 5 seasons until it was canceled in 1996. Has this show been canceled? Yes, twice. It ran for 5 seasons, was canceled, came back nearly 3 years later for two more seasons and was canceled once again.

Does the series currently air in the US? Aside from making a brief 4 episode appearance during the week of Halloween 2002 on Nickelodeon, Are You Afraid of the Dark? does not currently air in the States.
