A very humorous and enjoyable season of Archer. A typical season in theme, no country music, no vice, no coke. Even at seven seasons the show still has great writing.

With Cyril Figgis now in charge, this Magnum P.I. inspired season of Archer moved away from the spy game and into the world of the private detective. Despite the change the series maintained its usual high standards with the rapid fire jokes viewers have come to expect from the show, and it all builds to a shocking finale that has had repercussions for the seasons to come...

I appreciate the over-arching story told throughout the season. It was interesting to see the group with the madness of Hollywood rather than the typical spy stuff they usually deal with. It's not the greatest season of the show but it was still enjoyable to watch.

Two episodes in and I'm really enjoying the new set up of being Private Investigators (obviously its not spying on cheating husbands. Moving on from Espionage, Narcotics to Detective work is looking great. Honest opinion its the funniest show I've ever seen and it looks far from dying down just yet

I like to call this season Archer: Detective Squad, as we now follow Archer and team as Private Eyes in Los Angeles. Diverting from its noire theme, the ideas are much more 1970s Hollywood, the humour is just as fresh as the earlier seasons. Though the show was probably better prior to the shift, it still remains one of the funniest programs on television.

Still a fantastic show! Seven seasons in and you simultaneously feel they have done this before and yet, it's fresh. I quite often find myself laughing out loud and feel it's still easily one of the best shows running... and one of the best running jokes is the mention of bringing back one of the running jokes. Phrasing anyone?

It's honestly mind blowing how long Mallory was able to run ISIS, now Cyril takes over and they become private detectives.

This show has reached it's best by date 2 seasons over. It's just not funny anymore.

In its seventh season, Archer remains as reliably funny and lovably immature as ever.

The show remains side-splittingly funny, flawlessly animated, and voiced to a tee by a never-stronger cadre of voice actors.

Archer is consistently in the moment and garners many of its still plentiful laughs by focusing on the immediacy of the world that Reed has created, a world where a former spy and new father can find himself fighting terminators and robbing high-scale L.A. lawyers while also tangling with Oedipal urges and an ego that, after seven seasons, isn’t even close to settling down.
