The story is intriguing from the start (and is clearly aimed at anyone like me, not just those who already know the brand of League of Legends) but what I liked most is the writing, which is "realistic". The dialogues don't force the drama, they let it go in the most natural direction ... and this surprises you because you don't expect it. I give Arcane 10 because the right grade would have been a 9.5/9.7, given a slight rush in recounting the events in the last 2 episodes of the third act. But a detail like this, in a product of such value, cannot make it lose an entire point in the final vote, and since there are no half points, let there be 10. Well deserved. A jewel and masterpiece of technique and writing.… Expand

Люди который были увлечены одной идеей собрались и сделали это без скандалов как в других студиях, они не впихнули туда ЛГБТ с небритыми подмышками а показали милую истории 2 девушек. Они очень хорошо раскрыли историю даже второстепенных персонажей и сделали концовку такой, что можно пойти во множество путей ответвления истории.Безусловно буду пересматривать и не один раз. Sin duda una obra maestra, lo mejor del año junto con Succession de HBO. nunca Jugué League of legends ,y es que la serie es un punto aparte, no necesitas jugar nada, Arcane es una obra maestra y se ha convertido en una de las mejores series que he visto en mi vida, junto con Los Soprano, The Wire, Six Feet Under, Mad Men y Breaking Bad....
cada plano tiene un significado y una dualidad, la Composición visual y estética es de lo mas perfecto y hermoso que esta en la tv, sin mencionar sus personajes grises como en The Wire. la serie trata muchos temas de los que The Wire trato con mas profundidad y complejidad antes, como la desigualdad social, la gente poderosa que se ata de manos para intentar conseguir justicia. es una simplemente toda una experiencia sentarse a disfrutar cada plano, como dicen por hay, cada plano podría ser un wallpaper. pensaba que por ser animada y de un juego no podría ser madura, pero me equivoque la serie va mas allá, abarca muchas cosas de la sociedad. sin mencionar que en general tiene una escritura brillante, y un excelente guion repartido en 3 actos durante los 9 Capítulos, ahora es increíble su animación, detalles, paralelismos, planos secuencia, transiciones, los gestos de los personajes e incluso en ocasiones los fotogramas que estan para darle muchas interpretaciones al espectador. sin mencionar su Soundtrack que en ocasiones esta acompañado de violines que sirven para mostrar el declive o surgimiento de algo nuevo en el personaje, sin mencionar sus secuencias musicales que desde Breaking Bad, Los Soprano o Game of Thrones no había mirado algo así. o su grandiosa intro con la Canción que fue hecha para la serie, en fin solo digo que los que no la han visto, y sienten prejuicios, pues están en un grave error, por que la serie esta a un nivel increíble....… Expand

The quality was good but I'm more surprised with this series consistency in all episodes. I'll talk about some really amazing points in my opinion (without spoilers):

1: Animation (5/5)
At first I thought it was weird because it was, well kinda original. But in the first twenty minutes I got used to it and watching more I found that this animation style really matched well with the environment and mood. And the original that I thought it was weird at the start is a huge plus now.

2: Plot (5/5)
Being honest I'm a gamer so I pretty much knew about the whole story, but this was the same feeling I got with the Joker movie (we all know who is the bad guy and yet we got surprised and hooked by the story). Oh, and there was a lot of details and things that aren't present in the game's lore and its all awesome!

3: Characters (5/5)
Though the plot is centered around Vi and Jinx, all the side characters are charismatic and feel damn alive! As I said I won't talk spoilers here but you can be sure that there is a lot of characters development in all kinds (physical, emotional, personality and etc). But of course the best development is Jinx.

4: Sound (3/5)
Well, I just watched the series and though the soundtrack is good I can't remember any sound besides the opening. So yeah, for me it's only ok.

Conclusion:
In the end the honest review rating isn't 10 between 9 and 10 I want to give it a 10. Its sure is a masterpiece and I am really dying to see second season or other adaptations from the games lore. You will really find it at least good so rest assured, make some popcorns and enjoy the show!… Expand

I hate League of Legends, knew nothing about Riot Games beyond their bad reputation and had literally zero exposure to the show or the discourse surrounding it before I sat down and watched it...So it should speak volumes that, despite allI hate League of Legends, knew nothing about Riot Games beyond their bad reputation and had literally zero exposure to the show or the discourse surrounding it before I sat down and watched it...So it should speak volumes that, despite all that, Arcane is not only one of the best shows of the year; Its one of the best show I've ever seen.

Visually, this is the next stage in the evolution of animation. Musically, its very poppy and not to everyone's tastes, but they utilize it to their advantage in setting the tone and feel very well.

The thing that really carries it over the top though is the writing and the fact that they use every little trick in the book to make their world and story come alive: Showing incredible restraint in the pacing and story (the whole first season is basically a prologue that takes place in one little corner of the League universe), respecting the tone, source material and their characters (giving all of them room to breathe, not leaning to heavily in on fan service or giving some characters more attention simply because they're more important to the games).

If you don't know the games, you can't even tell who is and isn't a champion because they all feel like they should be.

Apparently this took them 6 years to get off the ground and most of that time was spent searching for the talent to fulfil their vision. This is what worries me going forward. 6 years is a long time to sit on an idea and tweak it to your hearts content: its why Fury Road ended up as good as it did, because it kept seeing delay after delay and so the writer had time to re-think and re-write the story and action until it was as perfect as an action movie can be.

My concern is that the series now has a lot to live up to and the pressure of delivering more content (and thus profit) now that they've got the ball rolling, and if it isn't given the time to breathe and refine like Season 1 did, it could burn out, fumble and drop off a cliff. This kind of thing has happened time and again with Game of Thrones, the Star Wars Sequels and many, many video game franchises.

Please do not rush this Riot! you've struck Platinum with this show and if you just give the artists and writers the time and space they need, Arcane has the potential to become the next big cultural touchstone and stand the test of time.… Expand

Don't be afraid to get lost because you don't know the story of LOL, the series already considers that a lot of people don't know and creates everything from the beginning.

Arcane is a show I decided to watch, knowing literally nothing about the show itself (Although, I used to play League of Legends, years back - Ultimately, that isn't so much an advantage, as a disadvantage, because you pretty(NO SPOILERS)

Arcane is a show I decided to watch, knowing literally nothing about the show itself (Although, I used to play League of Legends, years back - Ultimately, that isn't so much an advantage, as a disadvantage, because you pretty much know who is certainly going to live).

My expectations were based entirely on the clip shown on Netflix, when hovering over Arcane - Some bad-guy spewing some cliched dialogue about "power". Decided to give it a try: If it sucked, I could always just stop watching.

However, I didn't stop watching - I was immediately amazed by the animation, and it's style. The whole thing looks like a painting, that has come alive. But the colors are bright and extremely colorful.

The show pulled no punches, right from the very first scene. It portrayed a brutal world, where no one was safe. The stakes were real, and the characters were convincing and relatable. The good guys had to fight dirty to even survive, in this grim world - And it's seen as fair, because the stakes - Again, are real. In this world, everyone has to do what they can, to make it.

There are so many themes in this show: Duality, being one of the big ones. Every single character has another to mirror themselves in - Many of them even have multiple. The duality doesn't just stop with the characters, though - It continues through places, through themes, through time, and through emotions and scenes.

Arcane quickly gets you invested, and the plot quickly gets off the ground, and diverts to many different characters, at different places and social situations.

The voice acting is top notch. Maybe with the exception of a single character, I honestly can't say a single bad thing about it, at all. It's quite impressive.

A big portion of the cast is female, and unlike many other shows and movies (Including a lot of Disney products, sadly), there isn't some message shoved down the viewers throat, based on gender or social politics. There are strong female characters, and they are realistically written: With strengths and weaknesses, with passions and fears, with hopes and dreams. Some of which could be great role models for young women or girls, and some who aren't - Exactly how it should be. THIS is how you write characters (You could really learn quite a bit from Arcane, Disney).

The story is unpredictable and it grips you, deeply. You quickly care about what happens, because the show makes you care about the characters - They don't just act like characters in a show - They act, talk, think and feel like REAL people. You might not agree with them, or their methods, but you get where they are coming from, or what they are trying to accomplish - It's relatable, because they are so human (Even the antagonist(s)).

Arcane's action is also another highlight of the show. You can feel the force behind the attacks: The energy and the emotion. The choreography is brilliant, and so is the camera-work, doing these intense action scenes.

Another thing to say is, that Arcane's music is AMAZING: Every single song (With one except), was written specifically for this show, AND on top of that, it beautifully mixes classical music (Traditionally seeing in soundtracks), with pop-music. Every time a song plays, it's there to set the tone, metaphorically tell what's going on through the lyrics, or simply through the melody. The music does all of these things perfectly.

If I had to describe Arcane is just 3 words, it would be: "Masterpiece", "Spectacular", and "Awe-Inspiring". All in all, Arcane is not just a brilliant show, with absolutely STUNNING animation, great story, amazing music, and compelling characters: It's a show that redefines what entertainment should be. Over 55% of all the people who have watched this show, have given it 10/10 - THAT should tell you something. Arcane is, without exaggeration: One of the best shows, I ever ever watched. One of the best animated things, I have ever watched. Has one of the best music soundtracks, I have ever heard. Has some of the best animation, I have ever seen. Has some of the best voice acting, I have ever heard.

People have gotten mental over this show - They have made videos analyzing everything about this show: The music, the character, the trailers, whole episodes, dialogue, or even specific scenes. There is made reaction videos, videos with compilations of reactions, deep-dives, memes, fan-fiction, fan versions of the music, cosplays, etc etc, you name it.

If you have a friend, who keeps nagging you about watching this show, then it's for a good reason - If you haven't watched Arcane (Season 1) yet, you're not just missing out - You're doing yourself a HUGE disservice: Get to it already! You might not give a 10/10, like me and many many others, but I can bloody well guarantee, that you'll at least enjoy it! It's just 6 hours, too! Why haven't you watched it, yet? As someone who went in knowing absolutely nothing about League of Legends other than the fact it was a MOBA game, I expected it would be hard for me to get into this series in spite of the glowing reviews it has received. While the licensed songs thrown in can feel a little odd at points and sometimes the elements surrounding Jinx in particular are a bit over-the-top, those are the only flaws surrounding this fantastic series that I'm very much looking forward to seeing progress in its second season.… Expand

And with the conclusion… I don’t throw this term around lightly but… if someone was to call this a work of art in motion, a masterpiece… I’d have to agree. p.s. I don’t know anything about the game, and don’t have to, imo, this is god tier craftsmanship [even though “Enter the Spiderverse” did it first], and I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to experience it.… Expand

I am a massive fan of animation, having consumed copious amounts of Western and Eastern animated forms. Anime, Miyzaki, Disney, Filmation, Bandai, Dreamworks, I have consumed them all. But oh my God, Fortiche from France has raised the barI am a massive fan of animation, having consumed copious amounts of Western and Eastern animated forms. Anime, Miyzaki, Disney, Filmation, Bandai, Dreamworks, I have consumed them all. But oh my God, Fortiche from France has raised the bar and smashed through the ceiling with their production of Arcane - League of Legends. Every single scene and shot in this movie is a masterpiece of composition and colour and looks like a piece of concept art. The colour palette, the moods and ambience - they put all other animators to shame. It was a tantalizing and extremely satisfying visual feast. I did not see a single weak moment in the entire first season nine episode blitzkrieg. The character designs and facial expressions are spot-on; each has a little tick and eccentricity, and these are animated to perfection. Of course, the epitome of these is the multiple personalities, tragedy-stricken character of Powder / Jinx. Echoing shades of Harley Quinn but amping the madness several degrees, this highly sympathetic and tragic character has taken the world by storm. My daughters consider her the ultimate anti-hero. Character animators everywhere are taking her as a muse. Certainly Arcane has much to offer as a tale. There are many ironclad themes here. The worship of technology at the cost of the environment and nature. The unshakeable bond and loyalty of siblings. The terrible cost of playing with powers beyond our understanding, of dabbling in the Arcane and its dark twin the Occult. The terrible cost of power, of sacrificing blood and bonds in the pursuit of thankless ambition. The struggle between elite and ruled masses, and the lack of empathy and humanity that results. This series is definitive and foundational, it is perfect. We fully demand many more episodes to come in this masterpiece of animated journeys.… Expand

If a story is only as good as its conflict then the animated French series 'Arcane' directed by Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord must be one of the best. 'Fortiche', the studio who created the show spared no expense. 'Fortiche', the studio who created the show spared no expense. It truly deserves all the praise it gets. It's, in my mind, near perfect storytelling, one that builds and builds taking you to a believable fantasy/sci-fi world and getting you invested in gripping, investing and most importantly human characters before knocking it all down again, and again building something even grander and more engrossing than before, leaving you speechless and out of breath. I should preface, I've barely played the popular, multiplayer video game League of Legends of which the show is based on, I hated its overly crowd-pleasing atheistic, its soft, sugary, soapy characters and world. Little did I know. Arcane managed to humanise everything, I believed it, I cared what was going on in this world and the characters who inhabited it. I hated everything about League of Legends, but yet I loved this. There is a timeless, Shakespearean pathos present in the series' setting Piltover and its characters. The topside of the city is lavish and grand with great, golden vertical towers reflecting the brilliant sun but as we travel deeper and lower we see the district of Zaun a sick, decrepit, grungy set of poverty stricken pubs and neon-lit street food vendors. This intense juxtaposition is at the heart of Arcane' story and it reflects in the people of this tale as well leading to some brilliant emotionally driven moments of conflict. As this is an animated series, I'd be remiss if I didn't discuss the breathtaking animation. As other reviewers have pointed out every frame has life and movement making it hard to take your eyes off the screen for fear you might miss an important facial tick or piece of abstract symbolism. The art style is beautifully stylised here going for a fluid, graphic novel like aesthetic. It really works and pays off in many a jaw-dropping action scene. Arcane isn't just animated beautifully, it's animated intelligently and thoughtfully too. Amazing stuff. Arcane isn't perfect however, the pace is lightning fast after the first two episodes leading to rushed character relationships. I feel the show needed an extra episode in there somewhere to develop these characters even further. I understand it would have ruined the three act structure which fits neatly into the divisible-by-three nine episodes but I think the show would have benefitted from it. And, about those those first two episodes, I nearly lost interest in the show halfway through episode two. Why? Well, I felt every character, every plot point, every line was cliché and unoriginal. I was able to predict lines before they were said and see plot points before they occurred. Looking back, I feel this may have been the point. Perhaps the talented folks at Fortiche goal was to unsuspectingly lure the viewer into a false sense of security before rapidly upping the anti with some shocking moments.

Overall, Arcane is a must-watch masterpiece. It's poignant, subdued and its heavy themes leave a lasting impression on the viewer. It has a brilliant and multi-dimensional villain as well and I must give a mention to standout characters like Victor and Jinx. Much love was poured into the series. It's simply brilliant and hard not to fall in love with so please, do yourself a favour and watch it. No matter your tastes I think you'll get something out of this one. Bring on season two!… Expand

I don't really like this cartoon, but I understand that it fits the League of Legends world best here. Audiovisually, it's also a blast. No one else is as associated with LOL as the musical group Imagine Dragons. I don't really like their songs either, but I feel the same way about the look. Nothing would be as fitting as that. The story surprised me the most though. It was great. We follow the storyline of several characters here, but I found Vi and Jinx to be the most central, and I devoured their moments. I would also like to mention the villain Silco, who was also excellent. But without a doubt, I was most impressed by Jinx herself. Her moments were by far the best for me. Both in story and visuals, as her moments sometimes had such interesting, almost like scribbled drawings. It reminded me a little bit of Harley Quinn. I liked it. On top of all that, there are a bunch of references that I didn't notice at first. To sum it all up. I'm not at all surprised at how much praise this series is getting and how popular it has become over the last while. It does everything absolutely right and for fans of the game, this has to be an orgasm. I'll take LOL as a good game, but I'm not a huge fan. I did like the series though. On the one hand, I'm not as knee-jerk about it as most people are. Maybe the bigger a fan of the game you are, the more of an Arcane experience you'll have. Overall, if I had to sum it up objectively with a dash of subjectivity, it is an amazing series, but one that I would still only recommend to League of Legends players. I believe that the series will appeal to a lot of non-players LOL, but it won't excite them as much as fans of the game in my opinion.… Expand

In the span of three episodes, they deliver wonderful worldbuilding for a person who knows nothing of the lore. Characters act naturally to their personality and attitude. You'd begin loving them with their development. You also sympathize with why certain characters reacted or did in the show. You'd feel bad to them and hope they wished for the best but fate turned them for the worst. Damn it, I can't wait for next week and the next next week.

Although, as much as I loved the third episode (the ending also broke me), there were some rushed moments and it could have added a few more seconds, but holy moly the battle choreography was a spectacle to watch. Hoping to see more on the upcoming six episodes!… Expand

La acción está muy bien hecha, súper dinámica, los movimientos de "cámara" son una gozada, el uso de la pausa que hacen, de los movimientos a cámara lenta... sublime.
Quizás la historia principal es más simple de lo que me gustaría, por buscarle algún punto negativo, pero luego, las tramas secundarias son muy interesantes y complementan muy bien.

· Cosas buenas: todo lo visual, tanto la animación, el dibujado... Los personajes están muy bien construídos, en especial Jinx (Powder), y por último, lo que más choca, es la ambición que tienen, va más allá en todo momento, no se conforma, y eso es para aplaudir.
· Cosas malas: peca a veces de algunos clichés narrativos, nada que no haga todo el mundo, y luego, Silco, el villano, quizás es demasiado arquetípico, lo dicho, la trama principal es simplona, pero las secundarias la complementan muy bien.
· Conclusión: para alguien como yo, que no le fascina la animación, ha sido una serie brutal, estaba perplejo en todo momento y me ha encantado, sin duda, de las mejores de este año, ya no solo de animación, en general. Gozadla.… Expand

Even though I was vaguely familiar with League of Legends, the lore is something I have not invested any time in understanding. At any rate, I like the animation style, which is a combination of animation and 3D rendering. Kind of like cell shading but with more of a charcoal/blended detail. The animation is absolutely gorgeous, the score is fitting, the pacing doesn't drag at all and the characters are quite compelling, all flawed to an extent, but ultimately likeable, or at least ones you can empathize with. The story itself attempts to weave a couple of different journey's together and as of episode 6 has done a fantastic job of introducing the characters to each other. Highly recommend checking it out, if only for the beautiful artwork.… Expand

First arc gets a 9/10. Though, docking one point, because at the climax one of the characters simply forgets how to fight and well... I wont spoil the repercussions of this, though if you know any movie tropes, you'll have seen it coming fromFirst arc gets a 9/10. However the buildup to this was very well done.

Now for the second arc... I have to give it a 6.5. It felt a little slow at times, like a means to an end. Caitlyn looked like she lost a chromosome, somehow looking older than her mom, and considering how much screen time she gets, this is actually an extreme annoyance. A fair amount of weird sex stuff, but still less than the average western show.

Keep in mind I am fairly picky about my shows, and don't usually watch western entertainment do to 99% of it being mediocre teenage-esque dramas. If i was rating this compared to only typical western media, it would get an 11/10… Expand

Very good cartoon - cgi series.
A show with great animations, fast story progression, easter eggs that aren't invasive, modern sensitivity without being P.C. ossessive, plenty of action, good fx, good dialogues, on spot dubbing.

Excellent story telling that develops characters exceptionally well. It's a good series, no question about it, BUT... I think the jinx "who am I" thing, which was at the beginning really good and sad and all that, got pretty old. Still good, but you know what I mean.

Ну, что сказать? Неожиданно хорошо нарисованный сериал. Честно говоря после "свинки пеппы" и "новых утиных историй" думал, что на западе разучились мульты рисовать. Ан нет!
Герои очень колоритные, красивые, им сопереживаешь.

Мне понравилась история, конечно нужен ещё сезон. Я к сожалению не поклонник League of Legends, но всё же удивился когда в мульте Вай и Джинкс оказались сёстрами.
В игре полно чемпионов мужского пола, но...но. Все главные герои это женщины. Они невероятно сексуально нарисованы, но...опять таки но. Честно мне поднадоели героические супер женщины. Если хотя бы персонажей было поровну, а то ведь ну глаз уже режет. Да яйценосцы конечно есть, но все они либо тупые рохли, либо подлецы, либо трусливые ублюдки. Ну а если мужик боле менее крут как Вандер, то живёт он не больше серии. Джейс вроде один из основных героев но и того в конце выставили слабаком.
Да, сериал для взрослых. Есть обнажёнка и постельные сцены.
Ну и куда без новомодных трендов, скорее всего во втором сезоне Кейтлин и Вай окажутся лесбиянками.
Но если последние абзацы для вас не столь важны, смотреть очень даже можно. Красота, экшен, великолепная анимация!… Expand

The artstyle's gorgeous - as you'd expect from a multi-billionaire company - although conversations between characters can feel somewhat overly-animated at times and lip motions have a watery feel to them. Caithlin is probably the most obvious example, where her hair and the mouth flaps have the same silky physics and her model feels a little weightless.
The 'worst' part about Arcane is obviously the music. I'm not saying it's bad, hold your pitchforks, however, there's a bit too much teen angst when the vocals kick in and it makes me feel like I'm watching an amv. I guess the show's aiming for teens and young adults, so it's only natural to add that extra funk to the action scenes, but I found myself having to mute the audio to stop cringing. I would've liked the music not to have any lyrics to it, but I'm assuming Riot chose this course of action to add it later on to vinyl and Spotify and I'm sure it will sell well.
There is also.. touching, a lot of it. I'm not trying to say that hugs and kisses are awkward, but when they happen for the 20th time it takes away from the emotional factor and their intended message gets muddied along with all the other times affection is being displayed.
The main reason why I only gave this show an 8/10 is because it's the foundation of something with lots of potential. I like the story, some of the characters deserved more development, there were too many love interests and you can pretty much cross an entire BINGO board with all the secondary characters that die along the way. I hope the writers will learn from their mistakes and continue to improve on this series, because the amount of lore they have to work with is insanely rich. It's a great watch along with friends, I saw some episodes alone for comparison, but since it's based on an online game we've been playing for over half a decade at this point, it made much more sense to me to binge watch it in a group.… Expand

A animação é bastante fluída e deixa claro as intenções e personalidade dos personagens através da expressões faciais e corporais, ponto onde mesmo grandes produções acabam pecando.
A narrativa foi muito bem arquitetada e as histórias selecionadas podem agradar tantos fãs do universo de Runeterra quanto a aos que estão sendo apresentados agora a esse mundo. Por fim, a música da abertura é sucinta e conseguem se encaixar perfeitamente no tema da série.
Apenas não darei nota máxima pois a história não coloca o Heimerdinger como o demônio da quinta camada do inferno que ele é.… Expand

Loving the animation style. And it's an interesting story that keeps you mostly engaged.

The most frustrating moments are those when there is an obvious optimal solution and they're already on track to follow it but they switch positions so that the story can drag out which reeks of the worst writing that 90s daytime soap opera had to offer.… Expand

This show is enjoyable and fun ride, the characters are deep and with clear and understandable, or rather relatable motive and their decision, the music is fcking slap man the OST is insane.

The art is just chef kiss, my lord its just gorgeous to see, the frame is smooth as butter, the character expression is 10/10, the emotion feels like a real human, it almost make me think that the animation is made from motion capture, but if its not, then DAMN MAN, give the animator a raise.

The OST is also a banger, no music / OST that felt out of place, the music give the right feeling to the right scene, also i found it funny where ome scene become a music video, its riot after all, but the music video enhance the scene not ruin it.

Character as i said, have clear motive, or relatable motive, and every character isnt this pure white of righteous or pure evil, characters make mistakes and questionable act, just like human would, although this quality for each character gets hurt by screen time.

Pacing is also good, not slow but sometimes, some relationship between character happen too quickly, some are okay but could have been extended a bit more to give the attachment

My problem with arcane is that, it tells the story from many, perhaps too many, perspective, and the screen time doesnt make up to it, it's a fast-paced story and i dont have any problem with that, the cuts from one perspective to other is very well done and for me, i can keep up with many perspective and different problem that the characters faces but, With time constraints for a character perspective or event before it got transition into other character, i dont develop feeling and attachment to the character, the focus is just too scatter from one another to make me care about their success and their failure.
but there is tension and this show doesnt afraid to injure, torture, and kill their character.

About killing a character, most people already know that some of the character in arcane are champions / playable character in league of legends, and those character basically have plot armor in arcane, they cannot die, and that remove the tension knowing that certain character just will not die because they simply exist in league, side character are different tho, there are some of them die, some of them live, so the tension in term of surviving is on the side character, honestly (although, there's some exception to that *totally not warwck)

I hope riot would eventually kill a champion in the next season or future show, and make the league of legends summoner's rift basically like valhalla, where there's daily-battle and the participant are dead hero or brave human and when they die, they respawn, but league can put a twist to the participant, that is, the participant can be an alive person, or a dead one. I'm no expertise in league's lore idk about summoner's rift significance as a place or why the champion even fight for on there, but that is my idea to eliminate the plot armor that league champion has on arcane and future show.

In conclusion: Story is engaging, tension is somewhat hit or miss, attachment and relatability for me is a miss, could be patched with more screentime for each character rather than make it limited to 40 minute of each episode, i know making more than 9 episode is an additional expense, but for me, the screen time isnt enough to satisfy and make me attached.

Watch the first 3 episode of arcane, if you like it overall, watch the rest. oh yeah and if you like arcane, do not play league of legend, server sucks, client sucks, champion balance sucks, overloaded kits for newer champions, just dont.… Expand
