Arcane sin duda es la mejor serie animada de 2021. Cada escena y dialogo de la serie esta perfectamente planeada, es simplemente perfecta. El dibujo sin duda esta pulido al maximo, supera a cualquier serie animada en el mundo. La serie esArcane sin duda es la mejor serie animada de 2021. Cada escena y dialogo de la serie esta perfectamente planeada, es simplemente perfecta. El dibujo sin duda esta pulido al maximo, supera a cualquier serie animada en el mundo. La serie es corta pero la historia es tan buena que lo vale. Conectas totalmente con la hidtoria (y lo se por que es mi segunda vez viendola). Sufris, reís y lloras con Vi y powder, te haces parte de ese chico grupo de resagados. Por otro lado tambien podes empatizar con el otro lado de la ciudad (los millonarios) que buscan una forma de unir estos dos "pueblos".

Difrute la serie como un nene. Ame ver todas las conexiónes que esta tiene con el juego como tambien difrute entender un poco mas la historia. Si todavía no viste esta corta y hermosa historia NO SE QUE HACES.

Es un must-see. No puedo esperar a que salga la proxima temporada aunque seguro que sale en 5 años.… Expand

Absolutely gorgeous. As a fan of the game and its lore, this TV series is the pinnacle of quality of what fans could expect from Riot, the coolest animated TV series ever created. As a fan of the game and its lore, this TV series is the pinnacle of quality of what fans could expect from Riot, the coolest animated TV series ever created. Six years of work for this TV series has come to its fruition: the environments are crazy and super detailed, the characters are well written and consistent with the lore with some really emotional and sad scenes, the action scenes are directed to perfection with impressive animations. But the most important point I have to give is to the graphic style, already from the initial trailers you could see that it has been successfully executed, to adopt such a refined and particular artistic style to make excellent super fluid scenes in every situation it really shows the quality and the passion that has been given to this series and that is why it deserves all praise and merit for the work that has been done in making it. We are in front of an animation masterpiece from the very first episodes, with visuals and a beautiful story of the origins on the protagonists that really deserves every known award, I can't wait for it to be recognized so much so that we can expect future series on this universe with its characters considering how many incredible stories there are from the league of legends universe, this series could really be the beginning of the "League cinematic universe". A true masterpiece;
Finished the season last night with my partner and we were blown away by the show, the ending made our jaw dropped. League fans for many years asked for a animated series exploring Runeterra and my did they delivered. AsA true masterpiece;
Finished the season last night with my partner and we were blown away by the show, the ending made our jaw dropped. League fans for many years asked for a animated series exploring Runeterra and my did they delivered. As you would know by now that Riot always does a great job at building hype and create events, they smashed it out of the park with this first season show which made all the hype well worth while. Music was amazing in and outside of the show, the music is very Amazing lore, story telling, it's got a great narrative on a dark setting that gets switched on and off throughout the show. Moments makes you connect with the characters and how story builds up along with it. The city of Zaun & Piltover was amazing to explore you could feel the tension between the two cities where the rich and poor have hot blood with each other, as Legends of Runeterra player I very much expected the cities to look like it does in the show but they went further and beyond with the art style, I was so stunned by such a style to look good as a show and there were lots of details of the art they portray it with. I wish I can give it more stars because it was a roller-coaster of emotions and they pulled off plot twists extremely well, there was many of times where I would predict what would happen as it builds up but something unexpected always happen and it puts you in motion. You don't need to play the games to understand it because the story is so good that any average viewer can understand and get easily hooked, if you played their games then lucky you it makes the experience much better! there were a lot of new characters and old characters that we may be familiar with and all of them felt like they had good purpose to be on the screen, there were no characters besides Silco that annoyed me in a way. The cast choice was something I was skeptical about it before I started watching the show but they couldn't of chosen anyone better other than the game voice actors, you could just really connect with the characters even if you don't like their persona because they still serve a purpose of being in the show. I give this show a masterpiece 10/10! just god tier story telling.… Expand

In our times, when it seems like something good doesn't come out that often, Arcane shines its light upon us, being one of the best series i've ever watched.

I was expecting it to be good, idk rly why since i saw only a teaser showing the release date and THAT'S IT. But man did i remain awe-struck after seeing the first three episodes at launch. After that, i've been hungry for more, showing it to my friends, watching it with them, watching theories, rewatching the damn whole thing (which i recommend people do, it's somewhat different, in a good way, second time through). ARCANE IS JUSTA PHENOMENON. IT'S LEGENDARY. SO WELL DONE. I watched it with pleasure, every episode at least 2 times. The music is so awesome too!! I love for example: enemy, dynasties and dystopia, dirty little animalsand welcoem to the playground. So good. This show deserves every little appreciation and accomplishments it got. And you people who gave it a 1,2, or 3 here on metacritic, even though it's your personal opinion, i m sorry, but this is too good of a series even for a grade of 6.And i am sorry, that you can t see how beautiful it is.

Sorry if it is controversial, these are mostly my first thoughts after watching every episode when it launched, not modified after revisting. Based on my ranking, the show is a 9,05/10 ,BUT if i were to give it a grade based on my OVERALL opinion and experience, it is a 9,50/10. I loved it. Only problem is that i got a liiiiiittle bored at some parts in act 2 and 3, mostly act 2.

Arcane is an animated series based on League of Legends; one of my most played videogames, which means that I had to watch it.
So, to start things off, I wanna say that Piltover and Zaun have probably the richest lore in League of Legends'Arcane is an animated series based on League of Legends; one of my most played videogames, which means that I had to watch it.
So, to start things off, I wanna say that Piltover and Zaun have probably the richest lore in League of Legends' universe, and I don't think they could've chosen a better region for Arcane.
However, translating the lore from the game into an animated series isn't the only thing Arcane did; it expanded and fleshed out the lore excellently.
Aside from the lore though, Arcane has an extremely well written and thought-provoking story, accompanied by outstanding characters; Vi, Jayce and Viktor went from characters that I really like in the game to characters that I absolutely love now.
Also, the animation is breathtaking, the music is really great, and the world building is staggering; Piltover and Zaun are so lively and well realized!
Last but not least, I can't think of a single episode that I didn't like; literally all of the 9 total episodes range from amazing to superb.
Does Arcane have any flaws though? Well... it ends, so I guess that kinda sucks.

Pros:
+ Expands the lore in the best ways possible
+ Fantastic story
+ Incredible characters
+ Jaw-dropping animation and exceptional music
+ World building and details

Riot Games and Fortiche have created a monster; Arcane is a legendary videogame adaptation and a masterpiece of an animated series.
As a big fan of League of Legends and its lore, I simply couldn't ask for something better than Arcane; it's perfect in every conceivable way and I literally can't wait for season 2.

Dari segi artistik, visual dan cinematografi dari arcane sangat indah, animasi terasa fluid saat adegan action, ditambah dengan score yang juga menakjubkan membuat arcane salah satu series yang paling memukau.

Cerita dari arcane terasa padat, tidak ada satu episode yang terasa sia-sia. Main storynya adalah kisah persaudaraan dari violet dan powder, sub storynya adalah kondisi politik di Piltover. Kedua cerita tersebut dibuat terhubung dengan sangat baik.

Overall arcane adalah salah satu series terbaik yang sudah aku tonton, arcane juga berhasil mematahkan anggapan bahwa adaptasi dari video game biasanya berakhir dengan kurang memuaskan.

Honestly the best show I've ever seen. It doesn't matter if you've never played League of Legends, as I haven't either. There's no denying this is a 10. The visual art style is like nothing I've ever seen before. The storytelling, the character arcs, the overall writing is fantastic. Just when I thought nothing can surprise me anymore, Arcane stunned me from the beginning to the end. This is Shakespeare level stuff. I'm left speechless how this game development studio managed to make something like this. I'm left speechless how this game development studio managed to make something like this. The plot between Vi, Jinx and Silco is truly amazing, something that will occupy my thought for a long time. Well, at least until season 2 lol. Though I don't see how they can topple this. I think no one can. But I'll watch season 2 for sure nonetheless, just out of respect for this marvel of storytelling.

I don't play LoL, but I have friends who do and the lore from a non player perspective seemed interesting. This show with its setting, its characters, its drama, its animation and art style are phenomenal! If you are looking for a good story and a little escape, this story is for you. What makes this great storytelling so far is that the writers and directorsArcane is not just a game, It is a quest, and so far a great story (No Spoilers)

If you are looking for a good story and a little escape, this story is for you. What makes this great storytelling so far is that the writers and directors allowed viewers to dive into cause and effect. Instead of having viewers watch annoying flashbacks in a lazy attempt to connect us with the characters. You become attached to the characters and their stories before the journey begins. Episode one gives insight into the world of the lead characters and allows you to witness their trauma. Each episode gives you a sense that something is lurking, that something more is coming. These first episodes of Arcane are like a Charms BlowPop. Outside has color and taste, while the center (once you get there) has a little bonus for the time and effort. There are beautiful dark rich colors that help to convey the mood in every scene. Just like a video game, the story keeps moving, but unfortunately, you have to go where the storyteller takes you. I say this is unfortunate because you get the urge to stick with a character whose story has grabbed you at that moment. When the first forty minutes are over, you quickly click next in a rush to continue the story.

For harsher critics of Arcane, I say it is time to raise the bar. If you are going to ask viewers to go along for the ride, let it be with stories like Arcane. I went along for the ride with Midnight Mass, and that was a hellish nightmare of monologues. A cheap flat sucker lollipop with obviously nothing in the middle given to you at the end of a long and painful Doctor's visit.

I'm enjoying this story and each of the characters, especially the villain. It made me think back to when I played video games. My favorite game growing up was fantasy games. Arcane is a well-written, dark, gritty fantasy with brief flashes of bright shining light. A light that only serves to remind you that the darkness and the journey are far from over. I think you will enjoy what I believe is an exciting start to the story of Arcane and the League of Legends.

Honestly, I went into this not expecting much. To be frank, I never knew absolutely nothing about LoL before watching this series. I never played the game nor was interested in it. I was skeptical but once I saw the first three episodes, I was blown away. The story is deep, dark, violent,To be frank, I never knew absolutely nothing about LoL before watching this series. I never played the game nor was interested in it. I was skeptical but once I saw the first three episodes, I was blown away. The story is deep, dark, violent, thoughtful and constructed with the utmost care by people that clearly respect the source material. Each character and its subsequent development/arc was perfectly crafted and that is not even scratching the surface. The blend of 2-D and 3-D animation with an absolute banger of a soundtrack is groundbreaking art while each charismatic character offers an entire wealth of quality that I have not seen in a while. The 3rd episode (The Base Violence Necessary for Change) was one of the greatest climax episodes of all time and the last episode (The Monster You Created) pretty much sealed that this is the greatest animated TV show of all time. It's sad that this show hasn't reached the viewing peak of let's say Squid Game or Castlevania but this show definitively outclasses everything in its remote category. Needless to say, this masterpiece reached legendary status in just 9 episodes. Whatever happens next, I will keep this show in my heart for ever.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. You know... I came into this with very low expectations but there is this saying, "Keep your expectations at the door." These are one of the times where my judgement was right on it. Not only they have shattered my low expectations. It kept me very invested in the characters and their struggles without it coming off as forced. Especially Jayce, Viktor and the Hexcore, The triangular relationship between Vi, Caitlyn, and Jinx, and the father daughter relationship between Wilko and Jinx. At every turn throughout the entire season there were moments that have kept me at the edge of my seat. I would recommended this to anyone looking for an animation production with dark themes. The best part is that you don't even have to play league in order to understand what's going on as it is it's own original story. Which begs the question... When is season 2????… Expand
