Anger Management is really just a slightly more content-dangerous network sitcom.
-
This is, quite simply, a Frankencom, stitched together from pieces of other comedies. To their credit, Sheen, the talented cast and seasoned writers know how to make it all look slick and polished.
-
They're [the initial episodes of Anger Management are] somewhat more amusing than expected.
-
Not great comedy, but hopefully the beginning of long overdue recovery process for a talented, troubled actor.
-
Anger Management is a perfectly acceptable, standard-issue sitcom.
-
Anger Management is kind of a mirror image of Sheen: scabrously, outrageously funny at times and monotonously one-note at others.
-
It's sometimes broadly funny and sometimes broadly bad.
-
Anger Management is at heart a simple, old-fashioned sitcom, with raucous recorded laughter and predictable one-liners.
-
If the series was actually a disaster, that might at least be captivating, but as is, Anger Management is just an average sitcom with a few good laugh lines here and there that could star any middle-age actor
-
Anger Management is a so-so sitcom peppered with equal parts funny lines and groaners.
-
It is not a train wreck; it's just a train--chugging along from A to B, carrying the people, delivering the freight.
-
Anger Management is Charlie Sheen doing what Charlie Sheen does-- on-screen. It's not artful, it's not elegant.
-
This is all fairly predictable stuff and makes for a show that you'd watch because of the cast but would never put in the top tier of TV shows or talk about the next day at the office.
-
Now that finished episodes are out there, we can tell you that it's not great.
-
Nothing in Anger Management is all bad, but not much of it is better than half-good.
-
Sheen's obvious, minimally funny new sitcom.
