    Very good.
It is a different take on Star Wars universe, with tones and thematic similar to a ww2 resistance movie or a cold-war spy novel.
Adult dialogues, blurred morals, good fx, good action scenes, meaningful dramas. Touching situations that represents the flaws in both rebel and empire beliefs, describing the sadness and roughness of a conflict; creating a thoughtful way to engage

What a masterpiece this show is. The story writing, the dialogues, the actors and actresses, the tone, the pacing, the world building, the music, just everything is top notch in this show. This is how Star Wars should be, taking time and actually telling a thrilling story, in which you care about its characters and not like the majority of Star Wars shows Disney made.

In stepping away from the safe, family friendly writing the has blighted some recent Star Wars productions, and going with a more mature and grittier angle, Andor is without a doubt the strongest and most compelling TV show to enter the franchise thus far. A fantastic rebellion origin story and one of 2022's best shows

Andor is the best live-action Star Wars television series to date. Curiously, it is also the one that has perhaps been seen the least. Maybe because it doesn't contain material needed to make us memes? A pity, because it deserves so much.

If you don't think that this is THE best Star Wars show then you're wrong I'm sorry.

Also, this is easily the best Star Wars media to come out since the original trilogy. Honestly, it's on par with the original trilogy.

While skeptical that Andor was a compelling enough character to carry a show, this is one of the best Star Wars (and better Sci-Fi) shows around. It's not perfect, but if you want an exploration of the Empire, and birth of the Rebellion, with grit, and missing the characteristic Star Wars lack of any military logic, this is your show.

Just like Rogue One this show excels purely through being so well executed. This is the type of product I expected to get when I watched the Mandalorian - a solidly made, well-plotted series. It just ticks all my boxes - its the mission impossible fallout of the star wars world - it just does all the stuff I enjoy about the series to such a high level that I just can't criticise it.

A great show at the worst time. Definitely far better than the Boba Fett and Obi Wan shows. Definitely far better than the Boba Fett and Obi Wan shows. Sadly only a few people watched it and Disney even fears they destroyed the franchise by driving fans into apathy. Not an unreasonable assumption by the way. Like the name suggest it is the backstory of Cassian Andor from Rouge One. If I have to describe it it is the start of the serious and united rebellion against the empire and escalation of the conflict by both sides where Cassian is drawn into mostly unwillingly. Also it is more the story of little or normal people who struggle under the Empire. It shows consequences on the character level and bigger scale. I like that they show also the price people pay for being a rebel leader. But I have also to war you too. The pacing is a bit slow but leads to good pay offs and some say it feels a bit off of Star Wars which I mostly disagree. It has no Jedi, big space battles or many established characters. It has however good characters, highlights and growth on the story and personal scale. Also a good heist and smart prison system. The characters won me over. Diego Luna as Cassian fully delivered. He is not the character from Rouge One (meant positive here) and makes / starts his journey to the man he will become. Also impressive were Andy Serkis, Forest Whitaker, Faye Marsay, Stellan Skarsgard and Cinta Kaz. The cast, writers and team delivers something great. The look and settings were great too. They nailed the gritty look, grim situations and increased the immersion. Overall this will be a show that does not reach the audience, success and praise it deserves. We will see if Star Wars survives as franchise which was unthinkable years ago. There is too much burned ground, bad decisions and ignorance at Disney. Expand

Its not prefect by any means, the show's lack of proper pacing is big problem. There are episodes in which nothing happens and are filler, but despite that it manages to achieve good world building. For the first time we see inner workings of the empire and find out that they are not entirely incompetent idiots as always portrayed. The visuals are great and well done, doesn't seem fake. There is tension in the show and we get to see how rebellions are born (not just pew pew lasers). I'll recommend this show with the hopes that Disney doesn't flush this down the toilet too. Expand

The absolute best that Star Wars has been since the original trilogy.

You will hear a lot of people complaining that this show is hard to follow, or that it's boring. They could not be more wrong. This show respects the viewers intelligence and it respects the world of Star Wars. It treats the setting as a real place that it invites you into, and to watch a story unfold around you.

This show respects the viewers intelligence and it respects the world of Star Wars. It treats the setting as a real place that it invites you into, and to watch a story unfold around you. There are many story threads that it asks viewers to keep track of, not unlike early seasons of Game of Thrones.

Each episode runs anywhere from 35 minutes to one hour, and as such, I believe it is best watched in 3 episode spurts. The first two episodes are gradual world building, with the third being an action packed and high tension escape sequence. Episodes 4 to 6 follow a similar format, with two episodes of world building, character development, and heightening of tension, followed by an episode of perhaps the most intense action that Star Wars has ever seen.

An absolute must watch, not just for fans of Star Wars, but for people that enjoy mature, well written political thrillers and character driven action. I give this show nothing less than an 8 out of 10, with its high points easily reaching 10. Nothing else on streaming like it. Watch it.

The show is incredible, but if you can't handle slow-burns, this won't be for you. It's basically the opposite of Book of Boba Fett. Star Was is campy by nature, and if BoBF turned the canpyness up to max, Andor turns it to zero. Andor feels like a real, genuine world. Relationships on't just feel one dimensional. People react in ways you'd expect them to in real life.

Boring, it looks good but that's not enough, disney continues with putting current politics into its series and movies, they could do much better than this, it's a shame to see how they mistreat the star wars trilogy with your mediocre deliveries, I'm sorry but disney sucks and star wars is dead to me.

Why do we need this in an AMERICAN show!?? Cassian's and Luthens accents work great because they have an obscureness while remaining unique AND I love the actress.Denuse Gough..but Dedra or anyone on Coruscant reminded me of INGRID from Game of Thrones. Technically I think Asha Greyjoy has the same exact accent. Pulls me right out of the show. I waited all week for this!!!??? No thanks. It's too much. Too many accents all at once. Where are the alien accents/languages and droids? THAT is Star Wars-creating languages and accents with INTENTION.

Also it's not in line with the accents of the empire in the movies. It's just too much and doesn't work here!!! Sorry Andor I was rooting for you!!! but I just can't feel connected to something that feels so OFF and OUT OF PLACE. The "seven" should have been Androids and Aliens too. That would have helped make it feel more like Star Wars..then maybe I could have overlooked the accents. I liked the dark and unique approach to Star Wars here but it feels less and less like Star Wars...also...Coruscant should be more like Rome than Korea or New York 2050 in the games Coruscant had a rustic and open feel. Coruscant felt gigantic in The Old Republic felt kind of small here with Disney at the helm. Can we hire the designers of Old Republic here? THAT felt right.

It is a darker, more grown-up approach, although it is slow. Actually, in the first two episodes it's too slow. Diego Luna, reprising his role as the brooding, narky Cassian Andor, is the charismatic fulcrum to this story.
