This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The story in itself is not that bad. But what is very annoying: how shallow the whole court case is being portrayed, how dumb the questions of the defense attorney and and prosecutor were. Another thing: Why did the prosecutor even take that case? She could have just said that she once knew the wife personally, nobody would have asked anything else. Expand

Is there no write who might find a new way to explore this terrain without resorting to the tried-and-dull path of far too familiar? In Anatomy of a Scandal, the actors do their level best to transcend the cliches that both follow and precede most of their screen time. Finally, who cares a whit for the smarmy, arrogant and overprivileged monied class that Netflix shovels our way with striking regularity. Expand
