    Although Banks has a bad habit of tooting her own horn endlessly while the cameras roll, she may be justified in doing so, since, from the opening graphics to the hip-hop soundtrack, her show has been undeniably imaginative and engrossing.

Tyra Banks, America’s first black woman to land on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, came up with the concept of the show to inspire more woman to get out there and try for it just like she did. Tyra Banks takes woman of all ethnicities, cultures, and sizes and helps them achieve their dreams. Although she advertises the show to be much about the girls bettering themselves and modeling as themselves, Tyra Banks also uses her words to sculpt the up in coming models to act, look, and sound like every other model in the industry. Even so, Ms. Tyra Banks also uses each individual characteristics the girls hold separately to promote her look in front of the camera. America's Next Top Model is one reality show that truly holds the concept of reality close, even if it is a harsh truth the girls receive on screen.… Full Review »
