Sep 7, 2017Yipes, this show has gone downhill, and it's an incredible shame.
Somehow, I think this whole season will just be watching Sarah Paulson shriek over and over. I just can't do it anymore. -

Sep 7, 2017I absolutely loved the show but everytime any kind of show tries to mix politics with an imaginary plot it becomes ridiculous. It's very sad that an amazing serie like AHS tries to involve itself with politics just to gain attention after a not-so-good last season

Oct 10, 2017Winter and the kid seem to be the only compelling characters. Otherwise, I would say that the characters are not really characters as much as they are platforms for the show-runners to voice their political opinions. Some of the dialogue is just so painfully dumbed down. Like corporate did it on purpose to reach a "wider" audience and it just fell on their faces.

Nov 16, 2017American horror story does not feel like horror at all; it is pure blood, gore, nonsense killings, a great deal of cliches, unjustified and idiotic plot twists.

Nov 29, 2017What the hell happened to this show. It gets worse every season. This last was a mish-mash of Paulson screaming, cringe inducing stereotypes, and tired political jabs.

Sep 13, 2017Was a fan now I'm not, its not scary or suspenseful just cringe worthy predictable and boring. Didn't they already do clowns? I might give it one more episode but If it is anything like the previous 2 it will be my last.

May 16, 2018Imagine a show that alienates 50% of the public within the first 5 minutes. What a joke. I watched the whole thing despite the intro, DO NOT WATCH. Worst AHS yet

Sep 26, 2017Horrible. This show has become a parody of itself. Seasons 1 and 2 were top-notch, Season 3 was ok, but afterwards, the show has been a complete mess. And, yet, somehow, the showrunners have managed to outdo themselves and create a season even worse than the last one. Please have mercy on this show, FX, and cancel it. It is begging to be ended. What an atrocity.

Sep 23, 2017Why does Hollywood bring politics into a good series. This season has become the worst written and overall worst of all 7 seasons. I stopped watching it.
-
Nov 9, 2017Billie Lourd’s (Winter) brilliant acting was the only redeeming quality of this entire season. Absolutely the worst season to date. I watch television for enjoyment; escapism. If I wanted to watch the garbage written this past season, I’d have turned on CNN.

Sep 25, 2017I was a fan until season 7. Just like the emmy's and NFL, this has fallen to the extreme left perspective. It is packed with biased agendas distracting from real entertainment. It has fallen off my DVR list.
-
Sep 8, 2017At least they're lived up to "American" in the title, not sure about horror story though. This is unwatchable garbage, especially for a non-American..

Feb 11, 2018Season 7 is maybe the best season so far for me.
I found it funny, it got lots of humor/irony, twists in the story and is very watchable.
Also I liked it's reality and it's setting in the present time. It's a American Horror Story.
Thumbs up for the makers/writers/producers to give a statement and it being shut. -

Oct 23, 2017Nothing is more scary than Trump and his psychotic followers. A very timely topic that is sure to upset Trump's army of snowflakes. Great performances all around. Another solid season.
-
Oct 3, 2017This season is pretty corny so far. Its one redeeming thing is its all about how horrible conservatives are but here in the real world its crazy liberals gunning down politicians and kids at country concerts.

The concept for Tuesday night’s premiere of American Horror Story: Cult is so on-the-nose it can only be called brilliant. ... A murder investigation (led by Colton Haynes), and also a dizzying array of new plot points that distract from what works the best about this standout first episode: the crippling battle between politics and paranoia.
-
Unsurprisingly, though, it is not Cult’s take on Trump voters that has any real frisson. Murphy doesn’t respect that point of view enough to make it sound like anything other than raving semi-philosophy. But the show is more scathing about liberals and Ally in particular.
-
Every time American Horror Story attempts to imbue real, pressing fear into these statements, in the way that good horror often can--think of this year’s Get Out, for example--it also gets ... well, dumb, in a way I’m not certain the show realizes.
