Season 7 is maybe the best season so far for me.
I found it funny, it got lots of humor/irony, twists in the story and is very watchable.
Also I liked it's reality and it's setting in the present time. It's a American Horror Story.
Thumbs up for the makers/writers/producers to give a statement and it being shut.

Nothing is more scary than Trump and his psychotic followers. A very timely topic that is sure to upset Trump's army of snowflakes. Great performances all around. Another solid season.

This seventh season of this esteemed TV show is taking some interesting twists and turns regarding any potenial silck storytelling. Nonetheless, I would prefer this TV show would go back to its basic roots of providing smart horror for its fans rather than any political agenda. Yours sincerely, the biggest American Horror Story fan in existence.

Very good first episode, probably the most intriguing start to a season of American Horror Story. 65?? AHS has always been undervalued. One of the best shows on television. I love that twisty is back, as Freakshow was my favorite season.

Hard to review after the first episode... But the first episode was definitely the best premiere since season 4. It also did a surprisingly good job of making fun of both extreme liberals and "alt-righters" pretty equally which was surprising. (Anyone calling it solely Trump bashing clearly didn't watch the episode.) I'm definitely intrigued to see where this season goes and have muchHard to review after the first episode... You’ll have to sit through a few lackluster episodes before American Horror Story: Cult becomes truly enjoyable, but if you’re a fan of the show, it’ll be worth it. Seeming to have found itself with episode four, it’ll certainly be exciting to see if the season can continue its upward trend from here.

A great, as per the usual, opener for Ryan Murphy's AHS: Cult. I'm intrigued by this season's over-the-top plot and, of course, clown factor. Ms. Paulson and Mr. Peters once again look to dominate with their compelling performances and same goes for Billie Lourd's Winter Anderson, whose dark side and creepy intentions left me speechless & craving for more.

I think the use of our current political climate and everyone's reactions to this climate is extremely poignant. Murphy picked the perfect time to include politics as one of the many bases for horror. People on both sides of the aisle can find this show just enough removed from reality to be enjoyable.

Episode 1 was great and already seems like it will be better than previous seasons (looking at you Hotel, Freakshow, and Roanoke). I don't think the political aspect is too overdone, it fits into the story very well and they take jabs at both sides so it seems pretty unbiased so far. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Very good introduction episode. Many are upset because it seems to make fun of Trump, but people must remember it is all in good humor. Touches on the "killer clowns" that took over the country last year. It was nice they brought Twisty back to help correlate the different seasons, that many of us look forward to. Definitely intrigued to see where this season goes. Expand

AHS: Cult is a showcase for both Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, they did an excellent job in the premiere and I see them both at least getting Emmy nominations. You see, when your season starts with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton on your screen, it is understandable how some people will be turned off. However, I am hoping they continue to watch because they will realize that they are not trying to make a political statement, but want to portray all the phobias that arose with last year's election, and of course in true AHS style. So far the story is engaging, the atmosphere is perfect, it feels so hauntingly real, and the acting is amazing like always. The absence of many cast members is to be felt but we will see some familiar faces return this season. I am very curious to see the story unfold and hope that people give it a chance despite the minor political aspect. Expand

Ryan Murphy does realistic horror better. And some seem to not like it. Too bad.

So far I've watches 2 episodes and I can say I defenitely like it! This season in today's society and homes makes the story fresh. Donald Trump, the mad man, has become president, and parallel to that the world has gone mad. Sarah Paulson is great as always, this time she is very tortured and vulnerable. Is she delusional or is she being framed by a cult?

Definitely one of the best and controversial seasons of AHS. You might be confused -or wrongly offended- by the political subject during the first episodes, but it is worth the wait to see the monster that it truly becomes.

FX really outdid themselves this season. I knew this season was going to be good because well duh, it's american horror story, but i didn't think it would be this good. by the way, american horror story is my fav tv show. the holy trinity of ahs: cult, coven, & murderhouse.

Finally, a return to form!! Up there with Coven and Asylum. Way more insightful then the previous 3 seasons (and less cliched).

6.7/10 Na minha concepção é a pior temporada de AHS, o vilão é extremamente vergonhoso, o enredo chega a ser engraçado, enfim a única coisa que salva são as eleições.

The concept for Tuesday night’s premiere of American Horror Story: Cult is so on-the-nose it can only be called brilliant. ... A murder investigation (led by Colton Haynes), and also a dizzying array of new plot points that distract from what works the best about this standout first episode: the crippling battle between politics and paranoia.

Unsurprisingly, though, it is not Cult’s take on Trump voters that has any real frisson. Murphy doesn’t respect that point of view enough to make it sound like anything other than raving semi-philosophy. But the show is more scathing about liberals and Ally in particular.

Every time American Horror Story attempts to imbue real, pressing fear into these statements, in the way that good horror often can--think of this year’s Get Out, for example--it also gets ... well, dumb, in a way I’m not certain the show realizes.
