Feb 20, 2020My roaoke nightmare..horrible. why did you stray from the story lines like previous seasons? It put a bad light on AHS characters. Bummer

Dec 26, 2018Easily the best season of AHS behind Asylum, this was by far the closest to a "horror" story the series has been
-
Oct 29, 2018Season kind of messy. It's a good season and the idea of it is mostly well executed, but some elements are out of place. Sarah Paulson screaming through the whole season is extremely annoying.
-
Oct 11, 2018Roanoke and is by far the most brutal, violent, disturbing and terrifying American Horror Story installment yet. It's filled with graphic imagery, an intriguing story and an interesting structure which is the perfect recipe for a narrative that will haunt you long after the show is over.

Oct 11, 2018AHS Roanoke had an original approach and plenty of grisly diversions, but its misguided new format produced a snafu stuffed with contrived narratives, cluttered execution, and incompetent acting. (3/10)

Oct 6, 2018Finally came back to hit the season finale, very well produced, story that is really worth being

Apr 24, 2018This was watchable until the end. The paranormal witness style format was interesting, and then the reality TV arc started, and the series went downhill fast. When they recycled Sarah Paulson within the same series, I switched off.

HORROR? WHERE IS A HORROR? AMERICAN HORROR STORY - EVOLUTION OR DEGRADATION? DEGRADATION AND 6th SEASON IS SH*T -
Oct 2, 2017American Horror Story: Roanoke had me on the edge of my seat, period. The finale felt a bit out of place but, still, offered all the thrills to make this incarnation one of the franchise's best.

Jun 28, 2017I have loved all 5 of the previous American Horror Story-this One-Not So Much! Was terribly difficult to follow and get into, and that never changed. Finally quit watching it after 9 episodes. Figure I gave it a good try and just wasn't going to happen for me.

Nov 23, 2016The Best seson of AHS. 3les fizeram um um dos melhores produtos desta série. Uma história complexa, várias críticas sociais e atuações impecáveis são alguns ingredientes usados na melhor temporada de AHS desde asylum

Nov 18, 2016This may be the most boring, silly series I have ever seen. I thought that Hotel was so much fun. There was no sense of irony. No sense of detail. Kids with helmets with stupid random stickers, not one redeemable character. So silly Boo, Ryan. The finale was tedious, I can't believe I stuck with it.

Nov 17, 2016This season was a loss! I hate reality tv. I watched the whole thing feeling obligated to. I was disappointed from the first episode and it only got worse with each new episode. Only positive thing is that its over. I hope they get back to making it great next season. Was one of my favorite shows. If next season is this bad, i will not waste my time watching.

My Roanoke Nightmare is a fascinating new direction in that mission. We’re not sure quite yet if we’re applauding the new direction; to be quite honest, we found the premiere to be so heavy on explanation that we were slightly bored.

None of it innovated on horror tradition--echoes of The Blair Witch Project, The Hills Have Eyes, and The Amityville Horror abounded--but the creep-outs were executed with careful timing and visual flair. The documentary aspect and the limited cast size thus far has also offered convincing, grounded characterization of the leads--and more importantly, characterization of their relationships.

A lot of this was great fun. ... The grace notes the show allowed itself--the witty depiction of Shelby as a bougie yoga lover who likes her evening glass of wine maybe a little too much, the unapologetic plot holes that garishly remind you that yes, this is a horror story--were actually allowed to resonate, rather than being muffled by too much too-muchness.
