There’s a certain flair in the way Cena speaks, fluently, the language of military veterans. Better still, there’s genuine grace in the way he lets the veterans themselves do most the talking. Read full review

With all the crappy tv on lately i was glad to find this. This was my first time watching this show and it happen to be the first show of the season. I found it to be very interesting, I really like John Cena, funny at times. It looks like this could be alot of fun to watch.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. John Cena did an excellent job in this first Season. He engaged the audience as well as the contestants.

The one thing you should never do is compare tv shows to each other. You will always find similarities and I think that is why I see a lot of negative reviews here.

The show brings out feelings of patriotism not only from Americans but from people all over the world watching it. I was so engaged with the team members and their cadres that i could not wait for the next episode!

I was rooting for Tony because he was alone the longest and came out twice on top. Respect. In the end the team that was best at the competition won it. I cannot wait for the next season i am very excited!… Expand

In season 1, this show was a solid 10. Sadly, season 2 barely rates as a 5. I don't know why they felt the need to turn what was a truly gritty program, that was true to its name, into a cross between Dr. Phil and Fear Factor. Last year they did Navy Seal type challenges, and this year,In season 1, this show was a solid 10. Sadly, season 2 barely rates as a 5. I don't know why they felt the need to turn what was a truly gritty program, that was true to its name, into a cross between Dr. Phil and Fear Factor. Last year they did Navy Seal type challenges, and this year, when they're not busy crying and whining, their challenges are to eat pureed alligator and strip naked. What a joke!!! Aside from John Burk, even the members of the cadre don't come close to the quality of last season's group. After last season, I implored all my friends who had not seen the show to be sure to watch season 2. I'm now very embarrassed that I did that. If, by some miracle, there is a 3rd season, PLEASE change it back to the original format!!!… Expand

My family was looking forward to season 2,but it's all fun and games. Not much real action. Last year made sense in that there were hard challenges to accomplish. This year - not so much. It looks like Bachelor on sugar!
