I have watched every show to date, and I find it quite enjoyable despite overacting of Sharon Stone, the continuity flaws, a coincidental occurrences that defy credulity. SPOILER ALERT: If Agent X is supposed to be the best spy available in the country then why does he allow his captive terrorist to have an unrecorded conversation with a co-conspirator while locked in a maximum security facility (as happens with former X agent Volker in episode 8?) I tend to watch most television with a suspended view of reality, so this show is still fun, but I won't shed too many tears when/if it is canceled. Expand

The show doesn’t cover new ground, but it gets a passing grade for being competent within the overly familiar territory of the spy genre.

Bursts of violence aside, Agent X doesn’t work well as an action thriller. And while watching it for comedy, intentional or not, is more enjoyable, that’s probably no reason to tune in every week.

It is difficult to understate the breathtaking and apparently straight-faced derangement of Agent X.
