Nothing really funny about it as they try to be a modern Mash show. For the most part they put down the military and the country. Not impressed or amused

This show is awful in every way: acting, writing, visuals, and is completely unrealistic. It's tying to be something it's clearly not. Paramount's success with Yellowstone could not be repeated here. Don't waste your time.

As a female veteran I find this show very degrading, war is not a joke, and to portray our soldiers as whores and drug runners is not funny to me or any one else that has served in our military. Shame on you Ron Howard

I was so disappointed with this show, it could've been great, however from the start it's just another SJW show, well they lost my viewership.

I won't comment on its authenticity because I've never served, but at the very base level it fails to even entertain. If Hollywood really wanted to tell the story of 68 Whiskey they should have taken the time to do it right. As it stands now, the writing needs substantial work and the acting is questionable at best. Everyone involved in this production should be embarrassed. Expand

Confuse 68 Whiskey with MASH? Never. This show is not funny, not clever, not sexy. Did I mention not funny, not clever, not sexy? Should we talk about the unamusing and offensive storyline? Should we talk about the unamusing and offensive storyline? Substituting foul words for good dialogue is lame. Clever is good and entertaining. This show is not. Trying to sell characters who lack attractive attributes is lame. So weary of the new big push in movies and tv: confused, ugly [outside and in] don't get too close cause you know they smell bad characters - played by actors who look, act the same off set - what's up with that? Back to the show. Ron Howard - shame on you. Expand

This had so much potential to be good. Lazy writing and cliche lines don’t make for good tv. Most Hollywood depictions of the military fall into either an inaccurately flag-waving jingoism that paints over the cracks or a depressingly nihilistic bashing of all things American, the military included. 68 Whiskey introduces audiences to soldiers as they are, flawed but brave, warts and all, and allows us to follow on an adventure of flawed but not terrible writing, and great acting and visuals. Also, the Pashto they speak is very good, a rarity in Hollywood. Hopefully the writing can be improved if it is picked up for a second season. Expand
