    This is a very average season and nowhere near the heart pounding drama and ingenious twists of season one. The real time format has been all but abandoned and the producers of running a story that lasts for more than two episodes in case the viewer watches something else, much unlike seasons one and two.     "24" should now really be titled "120" - which is, coincidentally, about the number of ways this show is overrated.

    This season is filled with poor writing. For example, I think the subplot of Jack's father, Phillip, is beyond ridiculous. Nothing to do with his motives, just CTU's apparent apathy to even question him, let alone allow to freely tamper with evidence, spy on them, etc. I cringed while I watched how dumb that was.
