Aug 11, 2017I never rate this bad, because i never watch such bad shows.
I don't know what to say as the whole show was so irritating. Hanna's character was so flimsy. All the characters were just manipulated to fit the bad plot. -

May 2, 2017The whole premise of show is ridiculous. The fact that she blamed others for her own suicide and is appalling. However, what's more disturbing is how blind so many people are to this and actively support and recommend this show. In addition to this, poor writing, obvious plot holes and a cliffhanger ending setting up for a second season just makes this entire show a complete waste of time

May 14, 2018Probably the biggest waste of time available everywhere. Cliffhanger over cliffhanger, terrible acting, terrible plot, the character are unappealing. This is a product for idiotized Netflix consumers.

Apr 4, 2017An incredibly overwrought, poorly written, poorly acted slog. I feel bad for all high schoolers if this is how bleak your everyday life is. Mine, as long ago as it was, was obviously all sunshine and rainbows. There are many YA books that deserve adaptation... the Asher book did not deserve THIS adaptation.

Apr 3, 2017A drawn and repetitive story, it came with a good perspective, but it did not show anything of convivial nor of direcferente or innovator.
Not unlike other stories on television, the drama of a teenager who suffered and tragically takes her life is a good option for a weekend, but it is not a production that will catch your attention. -

Sep 22, 2017This movie was way to drawn out! And the ending was awful. Could of shown what happened in court, to Bryce, Alex, Clay and the rest of them. I would never let a teenager of mine watch this. This is only my opinion of course.

Jun 25, 2017After Stranger Things, I was worried if this series wouldn't live up to my expectations. This show is a triumph in every sense of the word. More people should watch this series in order to understand the importance of bullying and suicide.
-
Jun 11, 2018This series could've been a great way to show children how life do actually works, instead, this is just a ridiculous way to tell a "true" fact of daily life.

May 28, 2018They really should have kept it at Season 1. They'd have been better off never doing season 2.
-
May 17, 2018some interesting characters but the main character too retarded annoying... stop going around asking people whats on the tapes when you can listen to them any time. its like one of those kids at school who doest do his homework and just keeps asking everyone for answers.

Clay’s conduct sometimes borders on the insufferable. And while Hannah’s traumas are authentically dramatized, she’s forced to endure so many indignities that, in total, she occasionally comes across as a symbolic vessel for an important message, rather than a flesh-and-blood human being. Fortunately, Langford’s wounded-yet-bold lead performance is altogether charming, and Minnette is equally credible.
-
This story is sure to be devoured by teens who respond to its dark themes. But it could use a bit more leavening, acknowledging the reasons why life can be something more than apocalyptic.
-
Langford and Minnette are the magnetic core of this drama. Separately and together, they have a dynamic chemistry that glows when they share the screen and energizes their scenes with others.
