Kudos to the developers for introducing us to Efferia and it’s innovative battle system, interesting characters, and compelling story.

The production values are high, the game play is smooth, and it is simply a joy to play.

I would throw a red flag but unfortunately I do not have that option, in reality or in the game.

It retains enough of the classic charm to keep the veterans of the series happy, while adding enough of change to peak the interest of newcomers.

It is easily the most complete, innovative, and accessible wrestling game since Aki’s incredible "No Mercy."

The only drawbacks to GUN are the short story mode; the main campaign can be completed in less than six hours, and the extremely frustrating final boss.

While the length and somewhat child like appearance may throw some gamers off I simply cannot recommend this game enough.

An immaculate piece of software (and hardware) that should at least be experienced by everyone, especially people who love playing guitar.

With up to 32 player matches, the ability to use bots, and the incredible amount of customizable options this game will be played for a long time to come.

As a fan of the series, I hope that they can get the visual issues ironed out for the next 3D trip through Transylvania, so I can marvel at the gloomy interior of a haunted castle instead of wondering how the in hell in ended back up in this room again.

While the Gamecube version is lacking some of the bonuses of the PS2 and Xbox versions, it is still very solid.

BTL is definitely not for the 15 year franchise, NFL obsessed, stat tracking, sim minded football fan. However, if you are looking for a fun football game that captures the more gritty and violent side of the game, it is definitely worth picking up.

A continuation of an intriguing storyline, retaining all that made the first game great while adding changes to gameplay for newness and challenge.

In the end, this game passed the only test for me that really matters: it kept me playing, every chance I had, until I was done.

For the price you simply will not find a better deal this year. Even if you beat the first game to death including both Hurricane Packs, NGB is still worth owning.
