Fairy Tail is a straightforward game that does enough to keep it interesting throughout. Those of us not familiar with the show will have to put in a little extra work to understand everything that is going on, but fans of the series will really enjoy the pieces here. There is even an added epilogue treat that should really excite people who know the story. While there are a lot of anime games pumped out regularly, this one feels like it plays it safe where it needs to, while still delivering an enjoyable experience all around.

An amazing fan-service production wrapped around a mediocre platformer.

Despite the outside-the-box premise and the unboxing mechanic, this package is a by-the-numbers platformer with a few rough edges. Feel is a huge part of a platformer and in that regard, Unbox: Newbies Adventure is fine for the majority of the time, that is, until the physics decide to freak out.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is a great collection of tracks from previous games, re-constructed for the current evolution of the genre. If you are ok with that, and don't mind swapping discs to access this content, then do not hesitate purchasing it.

Really the only crime Touchmaster commits is not being upgraded with any extra features. You get exactly what you see here and while this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it can leave some gamers who have come to expect loads of extra content a bit disappointed in the end.

Its biggest deterrent is the performance on PS4, which just isn’t good.

Unit 13 is not ashamed of what it is, and as long as you are good with that, you will enjoy the game. It is a collection of missions perfectly suited for a portable machine with no real reason behind them. The controls are elegant, and the ways you can tackle the missions are abundant.

The encyclopedia of DC characters though is impressive, and clearly where they spent the bulk of their time in development. I almost could lose myself in that aspect, and never actually play the game itself. That speaks volumes about a $60 title. I just wish there was more focus on the unique boss battles and ideas that could have helped create a better experience.

Anyone looking for the next great western-themed game will no doubt adore Call of Juarez. The switch between characters adds depth and variety and the addition of multi-player gives the game legs outside of finishing the single-player adventure.

Corpse Party has a lot in common with fully interactive point-and-click games. The tone, storytelling and characters make what could have been a plodding experience, truly memorable. It's wonderful that XSeed has brought this over and, hopefully, will do well enough to encourage more of these unique titles to make a North American appearance.

The one thing Tachyon Project has going for it is its price. $10 isn’t that so much to pay for a game that has a decent amount of content in it. But having played many dual-stick shooters in the past, there is nothing really here that stands out as excellent. Just average.

Transformers Battlegrounds is a decent game that is marred by being confused as to who it is aimed for. Diehard fans of the franchise like me won’t find much challenge or diversity here to enjoy. Kids jumping in might not share the same nostalgia for these characters. The game also carries a hefty price tag, doesn’t feature online play, and boasts a relatively short campaign. While Transformers could work well in the genre, I am not sure this one hits on all the right notes.

Terminator Resistance: Complete Edition is a love letter for fans of the Terminator franchise. While the game has its fair share of flaws and glitches, making it feel like more of an AA game; this by no means is a bad thing. The gameplay is fun and addicting and what the story adds to Terminator lore is well worth a playthrough for a fan or for those who are just looking for a solid shooter with a kick ass story.

The biggest problem with Ferrari Challenge is the same one that plagues most racing games that choose to focus on one specific vehicle; lack of variety.

Stranger in Sword City is a brutal and uncompromising experience that’s well worth overcoming. It features some interesting gameplay ideas along with a terrific art style and an OST to match. If not for its few notable flaws, it could have easily been the best dungeon crawler on the Vita.

Despite the lack of challenge and somewhat underwhelming story, I still found myself thoroughly enjoying the fast paced combat, and as I continued to experiment with different weapon types and skill loadouts losing countless hours, I knew the niche that God Eater has carved out for itself is most certainly well deserved.

If you are a wrestling fan with a 3DS, this is a great game for your library.

Of course, I would have to recommend this game to the One Piece fans. It is possibly the best One Piece game out there, and most certainly the best one I have played.

It really is a great game; it just feels a bit unfinished in the car selection and customization fields. Racing fans should really check it out. I just hope you like European cars.

My daughter loves Princess Debut, and what's not to like? What girl in her right mind wouldn't want to be sucked into a swirling vortex in her closet and forced to dance just so that she can "find a man"?? On second thought, don't answer that.

CellFactor is an incredible game. With easy to learn (and use controls), cool psi powers and action that is faced-paced and addictive, it is an excellent addition to the PSN and XBLA.

For what it is Silent Hill: Homecoming truly does fit its namesake in bringing the franchise back to its roots.

It is nice to have these three games to complete the entire DMC anthology on my shiny new console. I enjoyed revisiting all three games as they are definitely memorable parts of my past. For $30 it is hard not to recommend for those with fondness and want to revisit them. For newcomers I can see plenty of people wondering why these games are so cherished among the community.

Just about the perfect interpretation of the series in handheld form. I cannot imagine a better way to do it and I would love to see them continue to expand on the idea.

Don’t let the movie license deter you from this stellar title, as you may end up missing out on one of the more impressive DS titles released this year.

Monolith has done a great job making a MOBA game work very well with a controller. Will I say after putting the time I have into GoME have I become good at MOBA games? No. Will I say I had a fun time with the fast game play, deep customization and online play? Absolutely. MOBA players should look into this game, and interested in the genre should absolutely check Guardians of Middle-Earth out. It is well worth the $15 pricetag.

Interwave needs to deliver the promised modes, improved tutorials and an offline option quickly if it hopes to survive beyond the release of this fall's marquee titles like Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. There's a lot to like in the concept, but I don't think Interwave has earned your money yet.
