SOCOM: Special Forces has left us with mixed feelings. The singleplayer doesn't live up to today's standards but the varied multiplayer and co-op modes save this game from its doom.- XGN

This latest instalment in the SEGA Rally franchise doesn't offer much variety. However, the gameplay and the controls are just so smooth that the five available maps will keep you entertained for hours to come.- XGN

Team Bondi and Rockstar have made something completely unique and appealing. Los Angeles is full of bad guys and finding them may not always be that difficult. It is however always fun to do so. Making L.A. Noire a truly inspirational game that will last for hours.- XGN

Gatling Gears is all about shooting. It's very simple, but really straightforward. Gatling Gears is a fast action game and has good looks, however, it's disappointing to see that it doesn't add a single thing to the genre.- XGN

We hate to say it but there is just no upside to this game. From the storyline down to the bad gameplay, everything is simply terrible. God of Thunder is a challenging game though, however, this is because of all the glitches that will make your life impossible.- XGN

Star Raiders feels like it's a cheap port from the original arcade classic but the graphics tell otherwise. Other then the graphics this game is a downer on every level. The controls are strange, the gameplay lacks variation and the storyline is just boring.- XGN

This game is really strange and has a main character who likes weird stuff, sex, jokes, blood and more. It's actually a Wii-game in High Definition so not an entirely new game. It's funny to play but doesn't offer anything special.- XGN

It's not common for an editor to beg a consumer to buy a game. This time I'm going to beg you to buy one of the greatest role playing games this year. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings definitely brings the RPG genre to a higher level. And damn, it's totally not linear either. Buy it!- XGN

Although the basic gameplay of Hoard is fun and entertaining, the game offers little content. It's also a game that you have to play with friends. Luckily all of the game modes are playable online.- XGN

Steel Diver has an original concept but the game itself isn't really that good. There aren't enough missions to play and the gameplay is difficult to handle. Therefore it's not something you should buy immediately.- XGN

CARGO! - The Quest for Gravity is a one of a kind game. The game offers unique and weird visuals which boost the general atmosphere. You will find yourself guessing what your missions are and that gets very irritating. After six hours, your journey is over and you have no clue about what just happened.- XGN

This is one of the most complete add-ons we've ever seen with new species, technologies and improved planets. Unfortunately the main gameplay behind all that stays stale and mediocre at best.- XGN

Conduit 2 is like a typical B-movie: action, action and even more action. Sometimes the events try to be very spectaculair but somehow it never seems to grab you by the throat. That doesn't matter though, because Conduit 2 is a decent game.- XGN

It took Konami 25 years to make a second Rush'N Attack game but this isn't what we were waiting for. The gameplay is very repetitive and the only strenghts of Ex-Patriot are its nice graphics. Definitely not worth your money.- XGN

Not everything used to be better in the past, but Yar's Revenge sure was. This game should have stayed in the past because the boring storyline and the repetitive gameplay just aren't up to date.- XGN

Portal 2 is better in every possible way when compared to its predecessor. The writing is brilliant and the voice actors have managed once again to bring the robots to life perfectly. Valve proves to be an amazing developer and brings us what could be the best game this generation has ever known.- XGN

Mortal Kombat goes back to its roots, making it even better than past Mortal Kombat games. There is so much content and there are so many improvements that this title is the best fighting game you'll find in stores right now.- XGN

Total War: Shogun 2 combines the best aspects from every Total War game ever made. It's less complicated than Empire yet it brings more to the table. Creative Assembly has shown that, even after ten years, this franchise is only getting better.- XGN

Operation Flashpoint: Red River is at its best when you play the cooperative mode. The gameplay is realistic and you really have to work together if you want to survive. When you play the game alone there isn't much fun to be had, partly due to the weak AI.- XGN
