EA Sports raises the bar again with NHL 13. Gamers who are looking for a marvelous game of ice hockey, and much more, don't have to look further. NHL 13 is the best you can get at the moment.- XGN

Dishonored is an essential purchase for the self-respecting lover of videogames. The game offers an intelligent and exciting experience which makes this one of the best games of the year. Dunwall is just as impressive in Dishonored as Rapture was in BioShock, and the magic powers are incredibly awesome to use. Eventually there is nothing to criticize this game for. A true must have.- XGN

Mutant Mudds manages to be one of the craziest games of the year. Unfortunately it is not very good due to the bad soundtrack, navigation and visuals.- XGN

Talking about content, Resident Evil 6 is an awesome and great game. Talking about the gameplay, Resident Evil 6 is a decent game, yet a bit disappointing. Talking about the co-op, Resident Evil 6 is a great game. Do the math yourself!- XGN

Rocksmith has a good soundtrack and actually teaches you how to play the guitar. No more pressing plastic buttons, it's time to get serious. But because of that, newcomers might get frightened since it's really hard work to master a song. The minigames add a lot of fun while managing to keep you learning.- XGN

Tryst is not what we'd call a well thought-out indie game. The strategic possibilities are limited and the voice overs are a disaster at times. It can still be very fun to play as the Zali or to explore the multiplayer modes. However, the fun stops after a couple of hours, when things turn repetitive.- XGN

Worms Collection offers some fun and shows what Worms is all about. Despite the fun, the game lacks cool features which were available in past versions. Due to this huge flaw the games can't compete with the older PC-versions whatsoever.- XGN

This is definitely the best PS Vita game so far! The game makes full use of all the motion possibilities that are available. Furthermore, Sackboy proves to be more than just a pretty face. The game contains enough innovative content and is so a lot of fun to play.- XGN

Animals take over as humanity bites the dust. Survival of the fittest is the only rule and it works perfectly in Tokyo Jungle. The gameplay however is too simple at times and can get a bit superficial. Without a proper finishing touch this game does not make it past the average level.- XGN

Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 really wants to be a FIFA game, but lacks the same quality and tempo of gameplay. That is why it really became quite a disappointment. The game is still fine, but if you are looking for something more realistic, you should go for FIFA.- XGN

The new Infinity Engine and the Connected Careers give American Football fans new reasons to buy Madden NFL 13. Although the game might not be perfect, the positive changes outweigh the negative ones. Electronic Arts is on the right track to turn this franchise toward excellence.- XGN

Forget Borderlands. Borderlands 2 is so much better. The game, which combines shooter elements with RPG-elements, provides action, humor and a lot of diversity. It's a shame that the story is too hard to follow but nonetheless the game stays strong. Not to forget it's got an really addictive element in it: loot!- XGN

The fun that your little army of tiny troopers has in killing, is highly contagious. Although this is a casual game, it manages to be pretty defiant. The price you pay for it, makes you forget about the little defects.- XGN

It's a small game which can be fun if you play with your friends. But other than that it offers nothing that will keep you playing. The different classes offer a nice change from your typical shooter but the poor balance during a match really spoils the fun. People won't stick around simply because it's free.- XGN

The Escalation mode and the singleplayer are the main causes as to why Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a nice third-person shooter. The game is far from perfect and that doesn't help to make this an unforgettable experience. It's fun for a while, but disappears in the back of your closet soon enough.- XGN

Tales of Graces ƒ gives you a very interesting, fun story where you totally don't know what your ultimate goal is. And that makes it exciting. The joy you get of playing will help you through the story, which will end in a nice way. And yes, the combat system is awesome.- XGN

Aside from the fact that some puzzle solutions can be quite far fetched sometimes, Deponia is one of the most entertaining point & click titles we've seen in the last couple of years. It's very hard not to play this game with a big smile on your face because of Rufus and his idiotic actions.- XGN

Hero Academy is a fun little game that gives a new dimension to games like chess. There is a good balance between the characters and the different abilities give you lots of room for various strategies. Although it's nice to see a Steam version of Hero Academy, it's still a game that works best on a mobile platform.- XGN

Even though Counter-Strike: Global Offensive doesn't bring many new things to the table, it's still one of the best, pure tactical shooters out there. This is the perfect time to get to know the world famous series, and even for veterans it's worth a purchase. You get a whole lot of gameplay for a low price.- XGN
