Grand Theft Auto V is the magnum opus of the current generation. It has an amazing game world filled with loads of content and the feeling that you can do literally anything you want. Add three fantastic main characters to it, with their flaws and virtues and you have the recipe for this magnificent game. Nothing less than a masterpiece.

Red Dead Redemption 2 turned out better then we could ever have hoped for. Rockstar knows how to create a vast open world teeming with life, in which Arthur and the Van der Linde gang seek fortune and glory. A new standard for action adventure games has been established.

Grand Theft Auto V on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is still a better game than most of the other games released on the new consoles so far. A must play for newcomers, and a great reason to return to Los Santos for veterans.

Rockstar told us the PC-version would be the ultimate version and they were right. GTA 5 on PC looks incredible and it works almost perfectly. Sadly you might still encounter some bugs and glitches in GTA Online that you already saw on the consoles.

Even on Wii U The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is a must-buy. This is a piece of art that does not lose any of its charm compared to the Switch version. Everyone should play this game.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is actually an overwhelmingly good title that every PS3-owner should purchase. And those who don't have a PS3, now have a really good reason to buy one.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a top game that is definitely worth playing, if you are willing to put in the hours. It's excellently written, excellently acted and shows that you can make a game as big as this without having a drop in quality through things like stupid fetch quests. Of course a game of this size is not without bugs and it is difficult to get into without prior knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons or Divinity, but besides that Baldur's Gate 3 is highly recommended.

FromSoftware has delivered a masterpiece with Elden Ring. The developer has put every lesson they've learned in the past into the game and perfected every gameplay-element. Add to that an enormous and diverse open world, the ability to travel and fight on horseback and the fact that Elden Ring is still challenging, while being more welcoming to new players. It's an epic adventure that not a single gamer should miss out on.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim does not only equal its legendary predecessor Oblivion; it surpasses it. The immense and atmospheric world and insane amount of content will have gamers captivated for months, while the more dynamic level structure and improved fighting possibilities won't allow for a single boring moment. Plus, Skyrim has dragons. Epic!

Baldur's Gate 3 is an impressive feat, making a DnD game accessible to the masses, while keeping the core, mechanics and variety of the rulebook intact. The freedom of choice is enormous, as are the consequences. The translation to consoles isn't entirely perfect and some minor grievances and bugs have transitioned or are even introduced, but all in all, this is the best Dungeons & Dragons game in existence.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom quickly does away with worries that Breath of the Wild's Hyrule won't be as fun to explore a second time. Sky Islands, changes to the landscape and much more make this journey every bit as exciting as the previous adventure. Criticisms of Breath of the Wild have been taken to heart where possible, leading to unique dungeons, among other things. Small performance blemishes and occasionally annoying companion AI can't stop this game from being absolutely essential.

There's no denying Tears of the Kingdom is played best on the Nintendo Switch 2, but the new edition can be somewhat frustrating thanks to the Zelda Notes app that isn't as functional as you would like it to be.

Persona 5 remains an amazing game, even three years later. However, the additional content in Persona 5 Royal is difficult to reach and could have been DLC instead. For first-timers and big fans, this is perhaps the definitive edition, but it is non-essential for anyone else that has played through the original.

There can be no doubt that the Switch 2 Edition is the best way to play. This is mostly on account of its significant technical upgrades, though some of the new features in the Zelda Notes app are also welcome additions. It's just a shame that several other of those additions are of no real consequence.

Beware a big bump in difficulty, but Shadow of the Erdtree is a must-play for Elden Ring-fans. It improves on the base game in every way. The new Lands of Shadow are beautiful and a joy to explore, there are a lot of exciting new weapons and spells to find, and the new boss fights are absolutely epic.
