Summerset has a tough challenge to follow in the footsteps of Morrowind. But the expansion delivers with an exciting storyline, an interesting new order to join, loads of new content and a beautiful island. We only hoped the island would be bigger.

Sine Mora has a complex story with a ton of options that make for an interesting experience. Things like time manipulation, power-ups and a lot of different weapons ensure for a broad game with a lot to offer.

Hogwarts Legacy perfectly shows what is possible in the Wizarding World. The game has a magical new adventure, with a lovely cast of new characters. The beautiful world is filled with small little details and a enormous amount of content. The combat system is also surprisingly deep and the puzzles will crack your brain, whilst never becoming frustrating. We do miss Quidditch, but Avalanche Software has put a lot of love in Hogwarts Legacy and it shows.

With Battlefield 6 the shooter has returned to the glory days of the franchise. With excellent gameplay, spectacular multiplayer and limitless possibilities in the improved Portal mode, Battlefield Studios has delivered on all promises made. The singleplayer campaign is a bit lackluster, but it doesn't detract much from this exceptional shooter.

This absolutely is a good fighting game for the Wii U. It's a port from the PS3 and Xbox 360 version but it has an extra mode which is fun to play.

NieR Replicant hits home thanks to some amazing combat and an intriguing story that keeps you entertained throughout. Although the story does drag a little sometimes there is a lot to love, especially thanks to the different endings.

Final Fantasy XIII is probably the RPG of the year and therefore a must have for any RPG-lover. The game is very strong, has beautiful graphics and good voice-acting. Unfortunately after completing this adventure we again have to wait a couple of years for a new part.

Guardian Heroes has a ton of gameplay options. You can choose to fight alone, or alongside a few friends in several game modes, which is a great new feature to this remake of the 1996 beat 'em up. It's unfortunate however that Guardian Heroes is one of the most chaotic games we've ever played, since it's often difficult to find your own warrior, when he is surrounded by big groups of enemies.

Dragon Quest Builders is a great game which borrows a few features from Minecraft. But with those, it does it's own thing. This creates a game with huge world filled with secrets and hours of gameplay and a few minor misses. Worth every penny!

With Transistor, Supergiant Games delivered yet another successful game. It looks absolutely stunning, has a great soundtrack and a very tactical combat system. To bad it's a bit tedious.

Splatoon 2 is a fun and chaotic shooter with a lot of charm. The single-player, while short, delivers a lot of diverse fun with cool boss fights. But it's main attraction is the multiplayer, which is a lot of fun to play, although it has its limitations.

For the past few years players had the chance to enjoy the beautiful story of Yakuza. Unfortunately, this story comes to a close with Yakuza 6. While you assume the role of Kiryu for the last time, the beautiful ending is in sight.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World is a great 3D platformer made better thanks the technical upgrades, and story expansion. Star-Crossed World offers fresh levels in every area of the original game that are a joy to play through, even though some criticism from the original release still remain.

Ibb & Obb is a relatively simple looking puzzle game. But when you dig deeper into the core of the game, you soon discover that the experience is everything except easy. Together with your co-op buddy, you must use a lot of teamwork to fix the job, and that won't always be an enjoyable ride. The gorgeous graphics and the well-chosen music succeed in delivering an awesome indie game.

Let's Build a Zoo is a modern take on zoo management games like Zoo Tycoon. The game is very unique in the genre and has a choice system that actually matters. A huge part of the game is collecting all animals and this is very addicting because there are many animals with fun designs to collect. The port to console is alright but not perfect. Controls could be slow and frustrating at times. But nevertheless is this still a game you should try if you enjoy management and simulation games.

It's a tough battle: which shooter will be the best? The year isn't over yet, but Resistance 3 is a good candidate. There are 12 different weapons, a singleplayer that offers you 12 hours of fun and then there is the multiplayer. Buy this game and you can play this for months. It's definitely a good shooter.

Metro: Redux offers you two beautiful shooters: Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. The games have a good vibe, a nice atmosphere, it's totally something else than the next Call of Duty or Battlefield. Actually the story of the main character Artyom is way more interesting.
