The meat (ahem) of the game is quite fun. It's the fist fights, the repetition, and camera problems that plague it enough to keep it from being more then average.

The game is superb and well worth picking up for any race fan. In fact, it’s probably the best street racing and car-tuning combination game available to buy and the three cities and continual urge to upgrade your garage of vehicles will keep you busy for weeks.

The graphics are purty, the control is decent, the voice acting isn't half bad, and the story's even pretty good. And two player co-op, come on! What more do you people want?

Vicious Cycle did an excellent job in recreating the comic in a video game, too bad there's only one safe house to spawn from.

A challenging title that doesn't treat gamers like complete idiots and, with the team play oriented multiplayer aspects of the game, it's well worth considering this title to help while away those wet April afternoons.

After getting through the initial few difficult levels and desensitizing myself to the gore and macabre of Doom 3 I was hooked.

One of the most striking things about Chaos Theory is its stunning visuals which top anything we saw in previous Splinter Cell games, even to the extent of making them look a little dull.

What sets this game apart from the rest is the life-like and believable urban zones in which you are forced to set up your defence or attack strategies.

The biggest problem with Musashi Samurai Legend is the same problem that’s plagued a lot of Square-Enix’s recent titles: it just isn’t nearly as fun as it feels like it should be.

The game’s artificial intelligence is impressive, and utilising the commands and setting team command points through the levels really makes it feel like you’re working through the game with real people who actually know what they are doing.

We say without hesitation that Brothers in Arms dethrones the likes of "Call of Duty" as the best World War 2 shooter out there. It is a strategic mind game and an intense action game simultaneously.

This hard work, however, is denigrated by the repetition of character models throughout the entire game.

This game can be very short; about 15 hours tops. It’s a joy to watch, though, and serves as a quick fix for those in need of some shiny action.

Probably the worst Star Fox game released to date – but that doesn't necessarily make it an irredeemably bad game. It is still a shame, however, to see that Star Fox: Assault has been in development for about three years and this is the result.

It’s just too bad that the tongue-in-cheek events are few and far between; more of them might have made Playboy: The Mansion feel a lot more fun and a lot less sleazy and dull.

Whilst not perfect in every sense, Mercenaries attempts to give more power to the player over the storyline and events surrounding the North Korean war, and it's with this 'gimmick' that Lucas Arts have made a merely good game, into a great game.
