Flat textures are still flat textures, however they are dolled-up -but at least Ubisoft have attempted to make the whole experience an immersion in a politically-charged, adult-oriented, comic book world.- Xequted

Our final issue with the game is that, there is no variety in what you are doing each level changes your location, immersing you into another lush environment, but the aim is always the same; whatever Helghan party you come across – kill them and move on.- Xequted

Perhaps the next time around, we will be surprised when we go in expecting to control a killing machine and instead find a deep (and/or deeply disturbed) man in our hands. Perhaps not. Hopefully, it will just be a little more memorable than this.- Xequted

And although the rigid gameplay is frustrating at times, taking on a mystery in the shoes of Mr. Holmes and Dr. Watson has a certain appeal that is hard not to deny.- Xequted

The animation is fantastic, but there’s not enough of it. The storyline is serviceable, but doesn’t really offer anything new.- Xequted

Good as a tool for reliving the movie but not for experiencing it in the first place.- Xequted

The graphics are purty, the control is decent, the voice acting isn't half bad, and the story's even pretty good. And two player co-op, come on! What more do you people want?- Xequted

There is an element of comedy in Scaler and it is very welcome -it does lack the wittiness of, say, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but it does make the game that much more enjoyable.- Xequted

This is by no means a real fighting game, it lacks combos, character depth and added storyline features and cut scenes, which could have potentially created a stunner, but overall, it's a fun –but limited- game.- Xequted

If you're looking for a playable version of the classic 1967 episode, “Mirror Mirror”, then Shattered Universe is the game for you. However, if you’re merely looking for a good time with the Star Trek Franchise then you would probably be better served to rent Star Trek IV on DVD.- Xequted

The biggest problem with Musashi Samurai Legend is the same problem that’s plagued a lot of Square-Enix’s recent titles: it just isn’t nearly as fun as it feels like it should be.- Xequted

A solid -yet flawed- 'Nam game and clearly a lot of time has been spent researching and analysing the period -but at the expense of graphics and AI.- Xequted

The essence of a good FPS is there it just doesn’t have that old Unreal or Half-life polish. Don’t get us wrong, it has its enjoyable moments, but it’s more than a little lacking in polish.- Xequted

If instead you only have a passing interest in all things water-based, it may be better to visit the rental store for a quick blast before parting with your twenty notes – definitely try it online though.- Xequted

That said, if you grab a couple of bongo sets, invite some mates round and have a bowl of bananas at the ready, it's great fun. Just be prepared for some very sore hands.- Xequted

The plot itself makes THUG both the best and worst game with a Tony Hawk label. While having a central story is a refreshing change of pace to the series, but to say that the plot is weak is a huge understatement.- Xequted

There are hints of greatness here and there. But those hints only remind us of Warrior Within's predecessor, making this new Prince of Persia game's bad design decisions all the more obvious.- Xequted

As a whole, Call of Duty: Finest Hour feels like it was poorly assembled with shoddy A.I. and lacklustre graphics. Couple that with short, uninteresting missions and main characters that you couldn't care less about, and you have a game that may be worth a day's play but is a title that you wouldn't want to in your own library.- Xequted

The concept behind Boiling Point is a good one but it is perhaps a little too ambitious, leaving many parts of the game a little dry and particularly bug-ridden.- Xequted

It’s just too bad that the tongue-in-cheek events are few and far between; more of them might have made Playboy: The Mansion feel a lot more fun and a lot less sleazy and dull.- Xequted

Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space had the makings of a good game, but poor storyline, painful acting, and lobotomy-level difficulty turned it into a sub-par platformer.- Xequted

It is worth noting that Headhunter: Redemption is tough – whether that is down to problems with the game's mechanics and controls or a deliberate design choice is up to you, but this game took endless hours to get through with many restarts and countless yells of fury.- Xequted
