It's a modernised take on dungeon crawling that brings a few new ideas to the series.- VideoGamer

So while the core game remains as entertaining as ever, what we've got here is essentially a fun little multiplayer-focused game which EA has burdened with a cache of tiresome, superfluous and unnecessary bonus modes, the overall focus designed around squeezing out a full-blown retail release.- VideoGamer

In the end, WWE Smackdown! Vs RAW 2008 will sell regardless of its quality, but it's not going to get many newcomers if the series continues to stagnate in what can only be described as last-gen gameplay in new-gen clothes.- VideoGamer

You don't need Magnetic Shaving Derby, of course. It doesn't demand your attention - it's simply a charming, silly, completely unessential purchase that's quite nice to have.- VideoGamer

It may not have any longevity beyond the times you boot it up to show off to friends as a curio of you new PS3, but at a budget price it is an undeniably unique and enchanting piece of software.- VideoGamer

There's nothing wrong with The Lego Movie Videogame, but it just doesn't have the same appeal as other entries in the series.- VideoGamer

It's the only game of its type on the 360, it's got brilliant microphones and it at least tries to allow you to expand the potential track-list to infinity. If you like karaoke, and you have friends or family that like karaoke, it's a damn sight better in-law entertainment option than charades this Christmas, and for that we should be eternally grateful.- VideoGamer

In truth, the gameplay has begun to tire slightly – certainly the stealth sections feel strained due to a lack of options – but this is still a strong piece of content and a genuinely pleasant surprise. Rocksteady will always be the true Dark Knight, but Cold, Cold Heart proves Warner Bros. Montreal is a decent Dick Grayson after all.- VideoGamer

The Sinking City is well worth playing for the initial rhythm of its casework and the freshness of its setting, but its mechanics, like its mystery, end up flooded.- VideoGamer

If you can find a friend, Little Nightmares 3 is a moderately enjoyable, if bland, diversion. However, co-op joy is required to insulate you from the otherwise forgettable and tedious experience at the title’s core. While fans of the wider franchise may find nuggets of lore to chew on here and there, Little Nightmares 3 provides little groundwork for those new to the franchise. Even long-time series fans will need to brace for Little Nightmares 3’s dip in quality.- VideoGamer

Then there's stuff that's just completely baffling, like the game's complete inability to match players into games that have already started - those kind of matchmaking particulars might work for a game the size of Halo, but here it just causes untold problems and a lengthy wait on the lobby screen.- VideoGamer

The camera is a nightmare, often getting stuck behind some invisible barrier or randomly switching to new and more disorienting angles. The collision detection's had a nervous breakdown, the puzzles are as laborious as a two-hour queue in the freezing cold and the combat has about as much depth as the shallow end at your local swimming pool.- VideoGamer

As ever with a new console, it's fairly easy to overlook serious shortcomings in launch software, but Pilotwings Resort's failure to live up to its brilliant predecessor is a disappointment. It's unlikely you'll be playing this once the next wave of 3DS games hit, but there's enough here to warrant this being one of your initial purchases.- VideoGamer

There's no denying that Fruit Ninja Kinect is great fun when played alone or with friends, and makes excellent use of the Kinect hardware, but it's also a little overpriced when compared with the iPhone offering. You get slightly more content, but I can't help but think you're paying for a beefed up mini-game. Still, if you own Kinect Fruit Ninja is one of the best experiences available for it.- VideoGamer

It's likely that most of the old time followers of the series will be put off by the extremely shooter-driven gameplay - but despite having the structure of something very standard, the game has a deceptively creative centre.- VideoGamer

For those who have played the game to death on an older console, the 'Rebirth' mode and assorted other extras may offer enough incentive to drop the cash on it again, and for the ten people who are yet to play Resident Evil, it's certainly worth experiencing for the first time, despite its rather aged control scheme.- VideoGamer

The driving loses its appeal quickly, coaster creation stages become dull, and the destruction is only fun while it lasts. As a downloadable £15 game some of these issues could have been easily overlooked, but at double that price it's a harder ride to sell.- VideoGamer

If you're excited about the movie and think dropping a few pounds is worth it to keep that fury at a fever pitch… then it probably makes more sense to just hold off and use the cash to see the film twice. The usual 'if you're a fan' nonsense obviously applies, but there are far better ways to live up to that idea than play this. Acceptable, but forgettable.- VideoGamer
