Give the trial a go and if you can burn through it a few times without getting bored, then maybe plunk down your money, otherwise, delete it and seek out greener pastures.

If you are looking for a game experience similar to recent Final Fantasy games, you will ultimately be disappointed with Radiant Dawn. However, if you craved focused gameplay and a story without embellished full voice acting or tons of FMV cut scenes, then Radiant Dawn fits the bill.

It is a very standard RPG and gets repetitive with a generic combat system. The dungeons are similar from dungeon to dungeon. There are no puzzles or complex tasks required.

Sure you may think it would be fun to play it on the big TV instead of your DS or PC, but the carpel tunnel inducing controls will make you wish for your thankfully discounted price back.

It seems like this game was made with the motto "Make it cute" instead of "Make it fun."

For full price, though, there are just too many other games that outshine Neves in almost every way and it’s better to just skip it altogether.

Sticking way too literally to the idea of the Little League World Series means there's hardly enough "game" here to interest any adult looking for baseball action, while the complexity of the pitching controls might be enough to turn off kids who like the anime looks of the game.

I can certainly applaud The Undergarden's developers for trying something different, but the concept here is not nearly strong enough to support the bland and pedestrian gameplay. Even casual games still demand a level of interest from the player, and The Undergarden doesn't have it.

It's a dreary, repetitive affair that never makes you feel excited to be in the shoes of James Bond.

Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe used to be fun, but time has not been kind. Despite a variety of new gameplay options, this Xbox Live Arcade entry is not worth a second glance, due to poor controls, graphics, and sound.

Square Enix succeeded in creating another Mario sports title; they just forgot to make it fun.

It's basically DDR, but using the Kinect motion controller. Sadly, it's overshadowed by the much more charismatic and dance friendly game, Dance Central.

One Single Life is a head scratcher for sure. On one hand, the quality of the presentation and the general flow / control of the game is top notch. On the other hand, it's a useless app once you die a single time.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is definitely a short experience, likely clocking in around 4 to 5 hours for younger players.

Crazy Taxi is not just a port that doesn't hold up well in the high definition era; it's a sloppy port that's missing the awesome soundtrack of the original game.

As it stands, Spider-Man: Edge of Time feels like a quick cash-in on Shattered Dimensions, and not a fully developed game in its own right. This is not the best Spider-Man has to offer.

Gyruss is a complete waste of 400 marketplace points. Any feeling of nostalgia is lost in the sluggish shooting control, poor visual design, and average online gameplay.

”Warhammer: Battle March” doesn’t come close to being an enjoyable game. The core game play while basic is too repetitive, and the wonky controls will test your patience quickly.

Call it Ratchet and Crank-lite if you want, but that's giving Spare Parts a bit too much credit. You are looking at about 3 to 4 hours of play time, most of which is reliant on monotonous combat.

Ultimately, The Sims is a game you can lose yourself in, as you get caught up in the antics of the little digital people you've created. You share their hopes, their fears, their ups and downs. Or, at least, you can do that on the PC. On the 3DS, you mainly have to mop up a lot of messes, half of which are created by your Sim wetting themselves. It's about as fun as it sounds.

Control issues plague Resident Evil Mercenaries Vs. and drag this Capcom title down into the murky depths of app store purgatory. The clunky, slowing moving characters that don't understand how to move and shoot at the same time are next to worthless, even with the slight tweaks I made.
