If you're satisfied with a basic Mega Man style 2D retro throwback then you can definitely have some fun with Venture Kid.

Ghost 1.0 is an exciting action game with a robust Metroidvania world to explore. I wasn't terribly engaged by any of the characters or its storyline but it's still an easy recommendation for anyone looking for some fun 2D combat.

Puyo Puyo Champions offers familiar and fun competitive puzzle gameplay with a huge selection of delightful characters. That being said, the overall lack of substantial content and options makes it a somewhat limiting experience.

Petoons Party is an enjoyable and lighthearted mini-game fest that's a lot of fun in short bursts. Although its board game setup is exceptional, the lack of mini-games makes it rather repetitive after playing for about an hour or so.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice succeeds in its incredibly visceral combat and stealth all while being set in an engaging game world. However, its linear character growth options and repetitive combat begin to dull the experience after you get over the initial hump.

Giga Wrecker Alt. is an exceptionally unique game that expertly combines action and puzzles. However, the fact that its gameplay simply doesn't accommodate for what it's trying to accomplish makes it an often irritating and disjointed experience.

As the final DLC pack, Mother Protector won't blow you away but it does a good job of tying up one of the loose ends in the main story and offers a fun decently-sized puzzle to solve, too.

Days Gone is an exceptionally refined and gorgeous open-world action adventure game. It doesn't bring a whole lot new to the table but what it does offer is hours upon hours of exciting gameplay and a layered (albeit often overly verbose) narrative.

SteamWorld Quest may feature a charming cast of characters and an enjoyable battle system but its overall lack of variety and drab dungeons make it a tough game to universally recommend. If you want a top-notch RPG then play SteamWorld Heist instead.

It's been a long time since the original Phoenix Wright games released so this is the perfect excuse to play through them again and re-experience the thrill of each case. Also, the updated presentation is handled so well that it feels like a brand new collection of games.

Cuphead is a stunning game that truly stands out from its peers on a presentational level. That being said, its gameplay doesn't do anything particularly unique and its difficulty is implemented in a way that it basically requires fruitless repetition.

The Division 2 is jam-packed with things to do and it does an excellent job of rewarding you with exciting loot. Just make sure to join up with other agents as traveling the streets of DC alone can be both dull and excessively difficult.

God's Trigger is the best twin-stick shooter that I've ever played. With tons of variety and cooperative gameplay that's as rewarding as it is exhilarating, I simply can't recommend this indie masterpiece highly enough.

I wanted to enjoy Truberbrook but mediocre frustrating gameplay can only be helped so much by amazing art. I can only recommend it to people who absolutely love point and click games and don't mind being bogged down by major gameplay issues.

If you like playing games with a local chum and have a soft spot for goofy humour then Fun! Fun! Animal Park will make a solid addition to your gaming library. It's too bad that more than 2 players can't enjoy it together.
