Although it's super-adorable and sure to make you smile, Kabuto Park rapidly becomes a tedious game with its super-repetitive gameplay.

The amount of adorable displays of imagination in Bluey's Quest for the Gold Pen make it one lovely adventure that anyone can easily enjoy.

I had a solid time with OBLITACRATER and hope a sequel will release that offers much more variety and far less messy visuals.

STARBITES may be generic in a lot of ways but there's no denying how charming its cast is and how well its many elements come together to formulate a rewarding battle system that gradually becomes more strategic as you progress.

    ZPF
As an enjoyable yet standard 16-bit shoot 'em up, ZPF is a merely passable shooter albeit with some fleeting moments of fun here and there.

Aphelion tells a gripping story of humanity's last chance for survival on a distant frozen planet through the eyes of 2 astronauts. The adventuring segments aren't as enjoyable as the story but if you're a fan of DON'T NOD games, you won't want to miss this one.

ROGOLF is fun but with its basic gameplay and sometimes frustrating win conditions, it's a couple strokes away from qualifying for the Masters.

Spica Adventure does some nifty things with its gameplay but it still feels quite middling, especially in Taito's epic library of great classics.

Although its combat is basic and floaty, Royal Revolt Survivors is a solid game with its cast of unique characters and fun multiplayer aspect.

Although the games in RAIDEN FIGHTERS REMIX COLLECTION are excellent timeless classic shoot 'em ups, the emulation and extras really bring down the whole package a lot so I can only recommend playing this if you have no other means to enjoy this trilogy.

Etrange Overlord is one of the most unconventional RPGs that I've ever played and despite its repetitive gameplay, there's a lot of lighthearted fun to be had as you gradually upgrade your chums and take in all the fun-filled musical moments with its charming cast of goofballs.

I ended up thoroughly enjoying my time with GreedFall: The Dying World but it certainly isn't for everyone, especially impatient folks who aren't willing to let it grow on them as they carefully tinker with the wealth of options and gameplay systems.

If you want an adorable puzzler that's on the easy side then give Rail Rescue: Puzzle Lines a go but it's not for those who love a challenge.

I had a solid amount of fun with Fortuna Magus but it can feel bare-bones at times with combat and cute art being the stars of the show.

Despite its flaws, Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown is a fun and unique resource management sim. At first, I wasn't keen on the battles and the lack of voice acting leaves a lot to be desired but I eventually found myself addicted to this trek through the Delta Quadrant.

Tiny Garden provides a relaxing formula where you strategically plant crops and decorate your little clamshell however you wish. So cute!

I enjoyed playing The Prisoning: Fletcher's Quest and had some laughs but its basic gameplay and small scope certainly make it feel limited.

First and foremost, Calamity Angels: Special Delivery is a comedy game and it delivers (sorry) on that foundation exceptionally well as it'll constantly make you laugh out loud if you don't take it too seriously. Even though it gets repetitive, you'll still make plenty of memories.

I had fun with the basic gameplay and quirky premise of Rightfully, Beary Arms but it definitely doesn't live up to its genre contemporaries.

Hero Seekers is the first game from VANGUARD that really clicked with me and I'm looking forward to many more games from them as they continue to improve on their established formulas to create increasingly fun and memorable old-school RPGs.

Big Hops is a super-cute game that can be a lot of easygoing fun if you enjoy physics-based 3D platforming. However, its mostly empty environments, occasionally annoying glitches, and odd flimsy gameplay segments make it fall flat from time to time.

If Terminator 2D: NO FATE released back in the day, it would have been a huge step up from the light gun games but it still wouldn't manage to reach the heights of run 'n' gun classics and considering this was made decades later, why even bother?

Despite its adorableness, BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons is one of the toughest games that you'll ever play; think Spelunker but even more unforgiving. However, if you're willing to stick to it, you'll end up having a great time mastering its oodles of content.

HELLO KITTY AND FRIENDS: FREEZE TAG PARTY is just so cute and fun to play that even with its simple formula and limited environments, it ends up being a wonderful little shindig that's surprisingly hard to put down.
